Uncooked burgers, staff is poorly trained. Don't go here stay far away.

It was my first time eating here. We arrived shortly after opening. We had to ask for silverware, the ketchup bottle on the table was empty, we ordered bacon cheese burgers and they came with no bacon on them. We flagged down the waitress to let her know that we had ordered bacon on the burgers and there was none. She asked if we wanted her to bring bacon and we told her yes. When she brought the bacon she told us that they would not charge us for the extra bacon. She looked very annoyed when we kept asking for things that were their mistake. When the bill came the bacon cheeseburgers were on there. They need to pay better attention to what they are doing. The food was sub par.
First time I’ve went back in over a year & still not impressed. Don’t think I will be back at all.
Bacon was burnt and tasted like charcoal, bun wasn't really grilled, never asked what I wanted on it. So I got bun, meats and cheese only. The banana salted Carmel shake was perfect. Didn't order fries but got some peanuts.
Everyone has an off day, just to bad it effected my $19 order.
No designated handicap parking and door closer makes it difficult to get inside on my crutches (1 legged amputee here)

I rarely leave reviews, but my experience here was disappointing enough to warrant one. From the moment we walked in, the staff seemed disinterested and cold. We weren’t greeted properly, and it felt like we were bothering them just by being there.
The cashier was particularly rude — curt responses, no eye contact, and absolutely no effort to make us feel welcome. When we politely asked about a menu item, we were met with a sigh and an eye-roll. It was uncomfortable, and frankly, unprofessional.
The food was average at best, but even great food wouldn’t have made up for the way we were treated. Customer service matters, and this place clearly doesn’t prioritize it. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant dining experience.

The made fun of me and my husband for being fat I heard them while I was going to the bathroom and I am very disappointed and my food was cold and it wasn’t right

Worst place ive ever been to, wouldn't recommend even applying here, all the employees do in the back is sit and chat. I was ordering and overheard them talking about me in a rude unfashioned way as if they were raised in a barn. Very unprofessional. On top of this my food wasn't even right, its like they purposefully dropped it on the ground and stomped on it a couple of times before wrapping it and bringing it to me. The person who brought it to me was disrespectful, they were rolling their eyes and had an attitude, horrible!

The service was awful, there was a person sitting on their butt behind the counter not doing anything. Another person had to come get our order and they had no idea what they were doing. It wasn’t very clean in there either. Our food wasn’t made right and ended up being cold. We had to pay extra for things they didn’t even give us. The staff wasn’t very friendly either. It took way too long for us to get our food when there were several people in the back. It didn’t smell very good in there and it seemed as if no one knew what they were doing. It only looked like one person was actually working there butt off in the back and no one was helping them. After this restaurant fiasco I wouldn’t greatly recommend the Joplin Whataburger. They also enjoy not saying very pleasant things about their customers in the back.

The food is always good, but 20 minutes on the dot to get my food with 3 cars ahead and of me is insane!! The workers didn’t even acknowledge the fact that I had been sitting in their drive through for 1/3 of an hour. No sorry for your wait, no extra hash browns or free sauces added in my bag to compensate, nothing. Certainly will go somewhere that actually honors “fast food” next time, I have sat down at a restaurant and got our food faster.

Went in with a large group. Every order was wrong, and felt thrown together. This is the only whataburger we have had this issue with. Service was good and wanted to fix things.

So I’m a late night foodie, when I seen we were getting a Whataburger I COULDVE DONE A BACKFLIP. IM so serious. The sweet and spicy burger? Slaps. Honey butter ANYTHING slaps. But you want to know what made my last nights 1am munchie run so so amazing? This guy. This guy right here was so kind, and didn’t throw shade when I said “Lil Milfy “ for the order name. I’m a musician and aspiring singer/song writer. Every drive thru and gas station I go to I’m telling people about these little songs I write. Most of the time being brushed off and making me feel bad for trying to pursue a career in entertainment. But THIS GUY? He made me feel important and hopeful. Almost had a little “Hanna Montana” moment if you will. Beautiful interaction.
My order was perfectly right, sauces were where they needed to be, drinks full of flavor, and fresh fries hot to GO. I felt seen, heard, and appreciated not just as a customer or artist… as a human. ❤️ 10/10 will always come here before any other drive thru in Joplin. Always.
