Whole Foods is something that comes in handy when staying at an Airbnb. I especially loved the hot collard greens from the hot bar. Great selection of specialty foods--many healthy. Staff kind.

This wholefoods is large and has all you would need in terms of food, but I wanted to recycle my glass and plastic from previous visits.... but there were no options, even within their large parking lot. A shame

Living near this Whole Foods, I've been here a ton, and it always brings the highs & lows. Here is my pro's and con's list: -Their produce is great -They have a good setup during Covid-19 -Ample parking* -Meat quality is night and day from some other area grocery stores -Quality brands and many without unnecessary ingredients (for example, fresh ground peanut butter that is made up entirely of peanuts) -They sell beer, wine & liquor in the back here For the con's, it's a shorter list but there are a few issues: -In the past, the staff has been less than friendly and sometimes even a little hostile. I should mention during Covid-19 everyone has been friendly and helpful so shout out to them. -The parking lot can be a bit of a nightmare. It's nice to have parking around here, but it's built too small and can be tricky to navigate. -Speaking of space, it's a big logjam right when you walk in based on setup Also neither a pro nor con, but just a heads up that all the samples/hotbar area are currently closed off due to Covid-19. At the end of the day, building a grocery store in a more dense area of town is a wonderful thing, even with some minor inconveniences. It's right along the Trolley Trail and brings a vibrancy to this UMKC corner of town. I appreciate the health-focused vibe of the store -- it feels more positive.

Going to UMKC now for a couple of semesters and this place is killing it for me, especially since it's just a stone's throw away for me! Growing up, Whole Foods was one of those "specialty" stores that we ONLY went to if we needed specific products, so I never got to go much and when I did, it was with my parents looking for something specific. All I can say is, boy...I've missed out on a bunch. I know the KC metro area only has a few Whole Foods scattered about, but we definitely need a few more. To my understanding there's none around the Blue Springs and Lee's Summit area which is a shame. The stores I've gone too are always nice and pristine. The products in store are of course on the more expensive side, but the quality shines. Also, the food and snack selections of this store are unlike any other "American" grocery store I've ever been to. Everything from fresh pizzas, Asian inspired steam buns, Macaroon cookies from the bakery and even a self serve Mochi ice cream bar. You name it, they might just have it. Not to mention, everything I've had so far is pretty delicious as well! I know it's just a grocery store, but if ya haven't been to one, it's worth the trip. At least go check it out and see if you come out the doors with anything!

1- Best coffee in Kansas City. Get Hard Wire black coffee or CORTADO here. Amazing! 2- They don't make my favorite cookie, cranberry oat whole-wheat. This is very sad. Get raspberry oatmeal bar. Very good. 3- They have fresh produce and most importantly best cilantro. If you don't like cilantro (one of the 15% of population with anti-cilantro mutation), I am sorry. Cilantro is awesome. Love it on green salads, homemade breakfast guacamole, lots of meals. I buy 3-4 bunches usually. I am a big fan of WF. This branch is new, open around 2019 at UMKC campus so close to the plaza. Love it.

Love this Whole Foods. It does get busy on the weekend. The food bar is really good and you can take your food upstairs to a nice relaxing place to eat. Clean, bright, and spacious. My one criticism is the bar food is not very healthy and a little disappointing. They have daily specials but they are usually fried food it seems.

I went during lunch and grabbed a premade salad off the hot bar/salad bar! Highly disappointed as it had been sitting out way too long. I got food poisoning and was bed ridden for the entire next day with a horrible case of food poisoning- never again! Very disappointed

Parking is tight, but the location is good, great selection, good lay out, feels more like a restaurant than grocery store. Extensive prepared food section. Some very unique products.

All I can say is that I spend way too much money there. Their product quality is very good. Don't shop there unless you're an Amazon Prime member, otherwise it's way too expensive. As they say in the North West "Whole Paycheck" when you shop there. Their staff is very helpful and friendly. The place is clean and well managed. Parking is adequate The Family Feeling is gone since Amazon runs it now. I don't get the feeling that the employees are all that happy working there. I've shopped at Whole Foods since they opened in Portland Oregon...that's a few years

Expensive, obviously, but SO MUCH more pleasant a shopping experience than your (read: my) typical run to Hy Vee or Price Chopper that I felt the need to leave a rating. Gorgeous seafood area, massive array of produce, super-helpful vegan labels where applicable, and discounts for Amazon Prime - all make me very happy!

Love this Whole Foods Market. Anyplace you can have a beer while shopping is just wow fun! Good selection of everything you could want. Employees are always friendly and helpful. Love the cheese selections, helpful on site butchers, nice produce (the melons have been spectacular the last month). Tonight, Kate, Roger and Christopher were wonderful. And Gregory in the Fountain Room is always fun. Well done.

Love this Whole Foods! I didn't realize having a fav grocery store is something I would brag about as an adult, but idk, I guess that's what adulting is. They have such a great selection of everything: bakery, booze (they even have a bar where you can get a drink while grocery shopping!), healthy snacks, juice bar, and pretty much anything you could want! They sell a lot of local products which is really awesome, and have a cute little area to order food and eat as well!

This is a good Whole Foods to visit. I like the feel at this location a little more compared to the location off 119th Street. My favorite part of this store is along the outer walls of the building. You have the fresh produce, seafood, meat, bakery, self serve hot food station, and the bar/coffee area. Making your way around the store there is something unique to find that you can't find at other grocery stores and there is a deal to find. This is a good place to visit to pick up something you enjoy or something new.

The selection of beers at the WF Fountain Room is outstanding, and the bar crew knowledgeable about their beers and friendly. Thanks to Greg, Andy, CT, MW, NP.

Great selection on the salad bar. Made us so happy to see so many labeled vegan options!! Produce was so beautiful and great quality. We are on the road heading back home to Texas and this was such a great stop. We stocked up on produce and options from the salad bar.
