Anita's Famous Rolls Bakery & Box Lunch

Anita's is an absolute treasure. I'm sad I didn't learn about it sooner when I moved here about 1.5 years ago. The rolls are delicious, the soups are probably my favorite lunch item. Especially the chicken gnocchi! My friend and I end up here at least once a week on average, sometimes more lol.

The stuffed rolls, both jalapeño and ham and cheese, were good and a nice size. The personal carrot cake was mediocre and had no distinct flavor. The personal apple cake was moist and good. The lack of posted prices hindered my decisions, as the hot case was the only thing marked. Their soups look like they're worth going back for.

I got Anita’s peanut butter cookies at the Painted Tree. The price was reasonable and they were delicious! It’s hard to find peanut cookies because of all the allergies. Really enjoyed the treat!

Great quality breakfast and cookies! I love that it is so close to home and a much better alternative than fast food! :)

We've been looking for a LONG TIME for someone who makes birthday cakes that really TASTE GOOD as well as look REALLY PRETTY. Many trials and failures... but Anita's was right on target. The cake was decorated beautifully, and it tasted EXTRAORDINARY - far superior to anything we'd had in a long, long, time. While picking up the cake, we decided to try one of their pop tarts and one of their coconut cookies - BOTH fabulous! (We seldom find ANYONE who makes pastries or cookies that can rival what we make at home, but Anita's really impressed us - that's hard to do!) Oh... also tried the lobster bisque - it was easily as good as any lobster bisque at a good steakhouse. We will be returning for sure!!

Amazing delicious food, we had the ham and cheddar roll and it was so soft and filling. We also tried the pineapple upside down cake, and banana nut cake and both were incredibly soft and decadent. Would definitely recommend.

I got a chicken salad box lunch, and it came with chips (I got spicy), a pickle, slaw, and a cookie (I got dark chocolate chip). Everything was just incredible, EVERYTHING. The staff was very friendly and quick, and it was such a great deal. I will definitely be back to try more things

I went looking for a very last minute birthday cake and decided to check Anita's first because I've never had anything there that wasn't delicious (highly recommend the maple rolls)....and it's very close to home. While they did have some premade cakes they didn't have the specific flavor I was looking for. So she made one on the spot! Thank you so much! Excellent customer service, excellent baked goods!!
