We came here for a birthday, the food was great but the service was sub par. We had an early reservation and ordered soon after we arrived. After 2 hours we had only gotten our appetizers, the service staff had not cleared the appetizer plates and was very inconsistent with refilling water. Overall the food was great but the service left much to be desired

We were seated on the top floor, a very interesting mix of new decor, artwork and very old, exposed rafters and beams nicely showing the age and history of the building. We were greeted almost immediately upon arriving and seated shortly after. Our waiter was a very friendly and courteous young man. The service was very good, the atmosphere was very quiet so my wife and I could converse without struggling to overcome background noise. The drinks were very good and a nice wine selection. I had an excellent filet and my wife had an excellent pot roast, topped off by a very tasty apple crumb cake dessert. Our meal came to about $100 each which, overall, we thought was very reasonable for the overall quality of the dining experience. Ample (paid) parking right next door. This was our first time dining at Anton's but we will definitely be back.

The food was good but the service was sub par on all levels. The hostess barely greeted us, she sat us at a table w no settings. She then began placing settings at all
Other tables around us. We thought we were getting linked. After 10 minutes, we finally received a hello from a staff member who a few minutes later gave us water.
Our waitress then appeared a few minutes later, with no hello, asking us what we wanted to drink. Still no place settings while all the empty tables around us had them.

Nothing better than walking into Anton’s after work. The music and atmosphere are so relaxing.

The service at the bar tonight was terrible. I met my husband. He was there before me. He had a water …I came in 20 minutes later. The hostess acknowledged me. The bartender was busy with conversation at the end of the bar. We waited. We were not acknowledged. I would have been ok with a “hello we’ll be right with you”. I’m not ok with nothing. We left and went across the street where they were happy to wait on us. I really enjoy the atmosphere at Anton’s but will not support rude customer service.

Anton's is becoming our go to spot. Maggi and I really enjoy heading down to the new UMKC trolley stop. We ride down to the crossroads and stop in for cocktails and some appetizers. The Paloma is Maggi's favorite so far. We love the meatballs. Can't Wait for our next adventure

Great selections of adult beverages. Girls at the bar are polite and friendly. Can't wait to try the food.

A little afternoon cocktail and appetizers. Atmosphere was great, service was a bit slow. Food average. Underwhelming on the old fashioned. Wasn't good enough to have another.

Comically awful experience. Literally laughed out loud when they brought out the “steak and fries.” See the picture. Hot salad on top or a steak. What are we doing. “Steak” looked more like kibbles n bits. Took us an hour to get our first round of drinks. It felt like I was in a prank video how bad it was. Sad cause this place used to rock. Whoever the new manager is- figure it out or find a new industry.

We didn’t have reservations and were fortunate to get in. The steaks were off the chart, the bread pudding was amazing!!! Definitely recommend!

Awful!!! First they seat us in the kitchen/butcher shop. They reluctantly moved us upstairs to the dining room. My $75 ribeye was tough and served cold. The burgers were dry and overcooked and the old fashion was lazy. Horrible experience at a once great KC steak house.

Absolutely awful. Worst meal I’ve had in Kansas City and in a long time. Ordered a medium rare burger, it arrived burnt and also cold. The mac n cheese was pathetic: limp penne with a sad, thin cheese sauce (also cold). The only reason I give two stars is that the ambience was nice and the beer menu was extensive.

Food was mediocre at best. The roasted potatoes were the best thing I ate that night. Broccoli was undercooked and completely unseasoned. Steak varied from blue to well, Mac and cheese was also under seasoned, bland and gluey. Was there for a group event so didn't feel comfortable complaining about the food, was very subpar. Staff was great and tried to accommodate, but only so much they could do. Will not be back.

We spent over $300 for two people the steak was tough and undercooked for how we ordered it you give $50 for a steak and it's tough and undercooked not good $25 for a lobster that was 2 in long and was tough because it was overcooked probably won't go back
