Let's go Royals...I have been in the crowd many times and shouted that out. We love our sports in Kansas City, so whenI was invited with my sons class on a field trip to see Kauffman Stadium I was so excited.Getting to see the stadium behind the scenes was so much fun. Stories about the history, learning about what has changed and getting to hang out in the dug out was pretty cool. There are several tour options. Daily tours, education tours and even birthday tours. The education tour is a learning experience combining baseball, science, math and history. My kiddos loved the Diamond Detectives and trying to predict where a hit baseball would go into the outfield.

I went to the Mets at Royals baseball game. The stadium is pretty awesome with it's fountains and so much food options! But I had to dock off a star because getting there is a challenge.Getting to Kauffman Stadium is not like going to Yankee Stadium or Wrigley Field where you can take public transportation. You need a car. You need to drive a car or have someone drive you to there. Being my first time in Kansas City and seeing they have free buses, I opted to be cheap and catch the bus! Bad decision because the bus stop is a bench and you have to cross 6 lanes of highway with no light or median. Yeah, that was me trying to not be roadkill. And then you don't have a very defined path walking to the stadium itself once you are within the stadium complex with the football stadium right next door and so much parking stalls! By the time I got to the ticket entry, I was tired! Going back to my hotel I opted to get a Lyft and even going to the staging area for that was crazy because there were cars just driving around asking if people wanted rides and they were not an Uber, Lyft, or taxi. Just some randos asking if you wanted a ride. But going back to the stadium, they offer a lot of locally brewed beverages and lots of BBQ! The food and drinks were awesome. The bathrooms were clean and efficient too. I do like how the stores selling merchandise don't have the exact same thing so if you saw a particular Royals hat, you might not find it at another store.I was rarely in my seat but it was close to first base. It was a good seat because the price is right. If I do go watch the Royals play at Kauffman again, I will take a cab.

Ok I'm gonna confess I live in KC but was raised in SEMO, so naturally I'm a Cardinals fan. My husband and I went to the Royals Cards game tonight. Our first visit to The K. It is a nice ballpark with plenty of choices for food and fun. They have a kids play area, corn hole, and mini golf. That is all we found on the 3rd base side of the field. Love the fountains. They have plenty of restrooms as well. Of course we had to have the loaded nachos from the Miller Lite Bar. They are very shareable and come in a large KC Royals souvenir helmt. We also sampled the traditional hotdogs. They were pretty standard, but you can't go to the park without having one. We also tried the berries kabobs. This consisted of strawberries and pineapple on a skewer drizzled with white and milk chocolate. It was a great sweet treat that was still light but filling. Parking as always is kind of a pain, but they do there best to get you out quickly and safely. We opted for the reserve parking. It did make getting to and finding or car easier. We will definitely be back to the K. And of course we will root for the Royals (as long as they are not playing the Cards).

Win or lose, Kauffman has always been an enjoyable experience for me. We really do have a nice stadium, with tons of fun food/drink options, kind staff, and good views. I especially love the theme nights at the K, dollar dog nights, and when they do post-game fireworks. And Royals are finally on a winning streak this season!!

We are on the hunt to watch the MN twins play at every stadium. The K was a fun and fantastic stadium to enjoy a game! We loved the food and drink options & the workers were so kind and courteous. We will be back again next year!!

It's an older stadium, but it is extremely well-maintained. Easy to navigate. Comfortable seats. Plenty of food and beverage options. Stuff for kids. Clean restrooms. Yes, it is home to a perennially awful team, but the fans are nonetheless very loyal. And we did happen to attend a game where they beat the 1st place MN Twins with a 10th inning walk-off grand slam. A cool stadium. Next time, I'll make sure I catch a Cardinals-Royals game or two.

Having grown up in Kansas City I've been to Kauffman Stadium countless times. From the 90s when the Royals weren't doing so hot and we'd get cheap tickets and roam the stadium, to the 2015 run to the World Series, and back to today, where once again, we aren't doing so great . Over the years you've always been able to count on a few things: plenty of seats, funnel cakes, and overpriced beer. While those things are still aplenty, there are a ton of newer things that have been added that are great additions. For one, the baseball hall of fame is amazing. It's such a fun little museum that is air conditioned (which is key on a hot KC summer game), and it provides some entertainment during slow times in the game. They've also added some more food options and you can now get the iconic baseball hat bbq nachos which are truly pretty tasty. So, why four and not five stars? Honestly I wish Kauffman would take a note from the Monarchs and get more good food here. While there are some good options, you have to kind of hunt for quality food that's not basic stadium fare. Same goes for craft beer - the options are pretty small, and limited pretty much to boulevard when it comes to local brews. Especially since the Royals aren't a top tier team this year, it would really help if the food and drink options were a bit better to make an evening out at the K even more appealing.

I'm a Yankees fan, so I had to root for the Royals against Tampa. The stadium is beautiful, great food, awesome staff, great experience overall. We were in the Hall of Fame Suite, and man, was it fun. Kauffman stadium is amazing.

My wife and I visited family in KC for the July 4th weekend and found that our Dodgers were playing the Royals so we all came to see what we expected to be an easy game for the Dodgers.Well, if you were there on July 3rd you'll know the Royals surprised the hell out of us. That said, the fans were polite and gracious about it.Kauffman is much cleaner than Dodgers stadium, and the four shaded seats behind third base (which included hot dogs and drinks!) cost just $100. Plus. You can pregame in the parking lot without being arrested, and there was no fear of being stabbed on the way out to the car after the game, despite me wearing a Dodgers jersey.A++. 10/10. This is how baseball ought to be in middle America.

Had a burger at the Royals game tonight from Bullpen Burger (owned by Aramark) and it was RAW. I had to walk halfway across the stadium and back in a surgical boot to get it and when I got back to my seat and took the first bite, it was disgusting. Paid an exorbitant price and couldn't eat it at all.Note that the good reviews are for the actual Stadium and Team, not Aramark and the food. The actual stadium should be reviewed elsewhere. Aramark just supplies much of the food at the stadium.

A group of about 50 of us came here on a bus for a work event. I'll list the pros and cons below; Pros: I think the staff was so incredibly nice! From the ticket greeters to the person who led us up to the suite, to the bartender at the suite. Really enjoyed the smiles I received. I was one of those that went in and out of the suite and the lady attending our entry way was nice every time. The suite itself was great. We had our own seats outside as well as an indoor sofa/living room area to catch some AC and watch other sports Cons: the stadium was pretty old and you can see it needs some upgrades. I did appreciate the party decks they had and next time I'll venture to those. But I'm hoping it gets a facelift soon to compete with the chiefs stadium next door!

Kauffman Stadium welcomes everyone with open arms, regardless of the team you're their to support. The staff is truly so nice and very helpful. I had several great conversations with them and they always asked how I was. The game we went to was in a rain delay for awhile which made our seats wet, but we were able to get some napkins to clean it up. That did not stop us from enjoying ourselves. The stadium made it a fun atmosphere for all ages. This would make the perfect date night! You can get into the ball park for cheap, the food is pricey but that's to be expected. I do recommend you go and experience this. Go Royals
