The food was bland and the bbq sauce was disgusting. The employees were rude and told us to hurry and leave so they could seat other people. The atmosphere is just dirty and hectic. There was dry pee in the bathroom and I’m surprised everything was up to code. Barack Obama lied, save your money.

Food tasted raw. Walls had mold on them. Worker was rushing us to eat and get out. Overall horrible experience. Never again.

This is still my classic go to place for BBQ while in Kansas City. The meats are perfect, the sauces are excellent. The service is just how you would expect in a classic BBQ place. Not nice, kinda rude, but that is all part of the experience. Still one of my favorite places for brisket and ribs.

For all my Ted Lasso fans: i ate at Arthur Bryant's Barbeque. Good in an old-fashioned “dive” kind of way. I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.I had the triple B sandwich, brisket, burn ends, baby back ribs, and a CokeThat’s my old green truck in the parking lot!

Three mice under our table eating floor scraps while we were attempting to eat our dinner, disgusting, absolutely disgusting. We will never even consider this establishment again.

Ribs were hard & dry, brisket had no flavor, staff rude, service slow, and food overpriced. Bake beans good.

Very good BBQ but limited options to try different meats unless you do a combo sandwich. They have three different sauces on the table; Original, Sweet Heat, and Rich & Spicy. All were good but the Original was the best in my opinion. They have good portion sizes for the sandwiches. They slice the brisket thin for the sandwiches and the burnt ends are extremely tender.

Meats are so far so good, and the BBQ Sauce is better than reviews from locals although I feel the reviews has to do with the latter part, the drawback is they don’t offer Quarter Pounds of Meats, and I wanted to try two so I ordered 2 x 1/2 pounds of Brisket and Burnt Ends (more like Pulled Pork/Beef) and while wanting to take it to go, I just simply grabbed a the paper boats for the pickles to use for Microwaving afterwards (as you can’t microwave styrofoam) and a guy yelled at me even so it‘s how I can eat leftovers. Also the restrooms is pretty nasty so cleanliness is not there. I had high hopes for this restaurant but left with it being at the bottom of the list of BBQ spots I went to. Also the cleaning folks seems to have conflicts with other customers too as the atmosphere is tense. Not sure what is going on but they shouldn’t pick fights with customers especially since they’re right besides some key Museums and they’re giving up on the future with this kinda attitude.

The BBQ itself is flavorful, moist and delicious, but, the sauces are bland and grainy with a distinctly unpleasant aftertaste. The atmosphere is fantastic old time BBQ joint but bring your own sauce.Wheelchair accessibility: Old building with no wheelchair ramp or easy access

Everything a classic BBQ joint should be! Definite pilgrimage site. Ordering meats by the pound or 1/2 is the way to go. Really enjoyed the turkey and the brisket. Frie tray was huge!
