Love this place!!
Weekend Bouncer was fantastic. Great staff and had lots of fun.
I was there Friday night charged $5.00 cover, no big deal but I had 2 beers and two shots, one of the bartenders said she needed a card to have a tab, I was sitting at the Bar, my bill wad $14.70 and I tipped $6.00 for a total of $20.70, Sat.i looked at my acct.and was charged $25.00 as well plus they put $6.00 more dollars on that for $31.00 no receipt not asked to sign anything except for the $14.70 plus the $6.00 tip, so for 2 beers and 2 shots my account was hit for $20.70 plus $31.00 plus $5.00 cover for a total of $56.70. How do you add a tip to a pre authorization my band took it all out of my acct saturday 4/12. You say it comes back but unable to use that money feel cheated, I will be up there Tuesday when they open to discuss it, NOT Very happy. It's been more than 3 days I had 2 am. Honeys on the rocks and two Modelos that's all. No turkey 101, so either a mistake was made or you are ripping people off, it doesn't just fall off, already deducted from my acct. $57 for 2- am. Honey shots on the rocks and two models that's all I had. I guess I'll take my business elsewhere if your not going to make it right
The bartenders here are always on their A game. Payton is always fun to talk to when he's making your drinks. I used to like doing Karaoke here but if you put in a song at 10pm you're lucky if they get to you at around 1:30 or 2. Karaoke starts at 9, I believe. Other than that it's alright. Loads of people come here, maybe Arthur's deserves an expansion. :)
My and the crew's official hangout spot!

This was my first time here in the area, and we ended up at this place on new years eve. Not only was this place a good vibe, but the owner made sure that we were taken care of and that we made it safe home.. we couldn't find an Uber at the time to go home, so he called a buddy to come take us safely home. This would be the place that I would like to come to if I make it back up this way.
We went for the karaoke, had a drink (no table service, went up to the bar), and managed to sing once. Atmosphere not ideal, rather like a pool hall, and the karaoke starts very late, so the crowd was already lots of booze in. Just not for us, and not recommended for the actual karaoke experience.

This is a really fun place to experience for a first and maybe second time ever. Unfortunately I'm a regular patron and got used to the place.
This place has karaoke every night they are open and the company that provides the karaoke (Carrieoke Productions) has a variety of songs to choose from each genre. The KJ (Tony or Lisa) lets you sing for as long as you fill out one of their song slips and hand it to them before they cover up the table containing the song slips. Their sound system is excellent, granted some singers love projecting into the microphone but it doesn't blow up the mic nor does it muffle.
I am impressed with the setup of this place too, you have a nice wide stage to sing and move around. You also have a dance floor right in front of said stage for dance breaks or when someone is singing a song worth dancing to.
This place also offers darts, a pool table, and a patio in the back of the bar if karaoke isn't your cup of tea. The bartenders and bouncers are really friendly people for as long as you are courteous to them, I have seen them kick out people for breaking courtesy. The prices of their drinks are pretty typical being out in the city; not too expensive and not too cheap either. Their jell-o shots are by far the cheapest liquor you can get with $1, everything else can go from $5-$10.
All the things I've noted would sound like it would come off of a 5-star review but here's why it is otherwise. This place would have another full star if they had their own kitchen instead of the back patio. The men's bathroom gets really cold in the wintertime because there is no door for the back patio and the bathroom is just beside it. I think if they had a kitchen in place of the patio, not only would the bathroom not be as frigid but they also would help their clients in the mood for munchies. Now I understand that there is a food truck near the place but it is very easy to assume it's part of the spanish bar right next to it and not Arthur's.
If you have a problem with thc, I do not suggest going here. Granted, AKL can't control that since there is a dispensary in front of its parking lot but this place often has users who reek of it. I hardly recommend you pay with cash at this place because they do start their tabs at $25 even if you intend on spending less for the night.
Something I've caught on as a regular patron that is rather negative than positive happens when you want something from them. A couple of months ago, they had an ordering for their own apparel (shirts/hoodies) available for their customers. I've called them to tell them I want an apparel and they said it should arrive for pickup in "three weeks time." No payment is needed until the item arrives. I went in-person in said time just to "order it" again and they coddled me with "It'll come in a few weeks." Granted I didn't lose any money because of this but I still haven't seen or heard anything from them regarding the apparel. The staff of AKL likes to lie about certain celebrations and how they plan to celebrate them as well.
As I am posting this, it is New Year's Eve and I asked them for a couple of weeks before about how they celebrate the holiday. Do they offer a champagne toast or anything that is special about it. Everyone of the staff said "No, it's just like any other night." I came to find out on their facebook page the night prior that they're doing a champagne toast. Did they change their mind? Sure, businesses do that most of the time but the confidence in their lies just to have the answer I'm looking for last minute is what took away another star for me. There aren't any more incidents to comment on negatively so let's conclude.
In summary, this is a really good place to go to for a karaoke night or just an ordinary bar night just off of NW Bar

Arthur's is a place that I frequent quite often. The bartenders are amazing and very cute, with the exception of Peyton. Sorry dude, you're not my type, lol. I highly recommend going on Friday nights. Karaoke starts at 9pm, make sure you say hi to Brian and Bree. Just so you know, food is not served at this establishment.

Good drinks. Good service. VERY loud. Not huge on their "no bag" policy as we don't have a car and need to carry backpacks with medicine, work tools, etc. in them. Can't blame anyone for that though, it's a small venue and I'm sure we aren't the only type of people trying to bring bags in.
Wheelchair accessibility: It is in fact wheelchair accessible

Went here last night, and go often, however my bill last night was $5.78 or close to that and when I left a $2.00 tip so it was almost $8.00 total, but when I woke up this morning and checked my bank account it showed a charge for $25.00! I will be calling the minute they open on Tuesday! I do not appreciate being stolen from!
