Honestly this place was the best Chinese buffet in the Northland back when it opened in 2016. As of recent this buffet has been slipping in quality and service. The food tends to be hit or miss at both the lunch and dinner buffets. Last time I went the crab rangoon was dry and hardly edible but the fried rice was fantastic. Perhaps the best sushi at a Chinese buffet I have ever had! Thick-cut tuna and salmon nigiri and tasty rolls. All other selections were phenomenal. And the price was amazing: $12 per person.
I am straight up addicted to foods from the Orient and have tried most buffets in the KC metro. One can generally rate how the entire buffet will be by the quality of the sushi and pot stickers/dumplings. They were both on point here as was the rest of the buffet. Great selection and quality.
