I went to my first restaurant container community in London a few years back and never forgot the amazing options and up cycling the community and restaurants brought. With food halls being the new hype, I had hoped an outdoor container like "Pop Brixton" would come to kc! Here we are a few years later with this amazing concept that brings avocados and bbq to life! I have so much appreciation for restaurants that try different fusions. One of Avo bite's specialty bowls and my personal favorite: " The KC Love" fuses Joes Kansas City bbq sauce with shredded meat and rice at the bottom paired with a full size avocado to show you that they mean business when it comes to picking their avocados. Avo bite is a great local lunch/ dinner spot with the outdoor picnic tables adding a welcoming atmosphere to sit and enjoy!

While exploring the Iron district we decided to try Avobites. The two bowls we tried were delicious! The kc love and el Mexicano had perfectly ripe avocados, they had beautiful presentation and very tasty! Our favorite was the el Mexicano. Shout out to the wonderful service, I tripped right after I had walked away from us receiving our food and fell to the ground. Destroying my order. They gave me another one for half price. Thank you!

Clean and friendly place. I ordered vegan friendly dish and I got it less than 3 mins. The dish was delicious and my favorite part was the fresh cut avocado. This is a perfect healthy eats spot

My husband and I went there for the first time today. I got the Mexicano bowl and he got the bowl with pulled pork. Both options were delicious, food tasted fresh, and workers for friendly. I also loved the shipping crate decor. We are planning to go back and I would definitely recommend.

Avo Bite is where all your avocado loving dreams come true. Veronica is so friendly and shows her care in the top quality of food and dishes she serves. We've enjoyed many dishes but our favorite is the KC Love. It's a fun twist on some KC classic and of course avocado! We ordered a Avo box which was amazing! The products were fresh, local and easy to assemble so we can enjoy a taste of Avo bite at home.

Avobite is one of several restaurants situated at the Iron District, the name for a grouping of shipping containers in a nondescript industrial neighborhood just off I-35 at 16th and iron Street. Iron District consists of about 5 restaurants, a bar and several retail stores surrounding a number of wooden outdoor tables where you can sit and enjoy your meal in a relaxed environment. Don't let the location fool you as the food quality is better than most brick and mortar establishments. Admittedly, I was skeptical of a restaurant that included avocado in every dish. I love avocados but I had never heard of an avocado-centric restaurant.I went to the grand opening of this establishment and unfortunately they sold out of food so I did not get to try it. Luckily, I don't give up easily so I went back a week later when the crowds had subsided. We mistakenly arrived after Iron District had closed for the day at 2pm but while most places were empty, Veronica greeted us at Avobite and was more than happy to satisfy our hunger. I ordered the KC Love while my partner ordered the El Mexicano. True to its name, there was much to love about the "KC Love". The food was ready in 5 minutes and was hot, fresh and full of flavor. The Joe's KC bbq on the dish was excellent as was the rice and the avocado was perfectly ripe. Clearly, Veronica has a passion for this and her hard work shows in the quality of the food.I will be back to try some of the other menu items.

What’s not to like?! Avobite’s concept is super cute and their flavor combos are legit to boot. The hardest part of paying them a visit is choosing what to get, seriously.

The spicy tuna bites were delicious, light, and refreshing. Customer service was prompt, friendly, and informative. They are located in the back of the Iron District by the fenced in area which is great for little ones to run around.
