We were in the area for a wedding last weekend and my husband’s coworker told us to make sure we ate here. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming which was a bonus! Coyote Bill was playing (excellent band!) and the food was beyond amazing! We will always make sure to come back when we are around!

I chose BB's Lawnside BBQ for our 2025 USS Klondike ships reunion as one of the places for us to go. The food was served buffet style and was fantastic. We had over 30 people there and the food was kept refilled for us as soon as it started to get down. The service was great as well as the music. Delicious was an understatement! If you ever get a chance to try this place, I would highly recommend it. Thank you to BB's Lawnside for a great time and delicious food and BBQ!

😳😡Had to give a star to post a review, but came to expose a MAJOR FAUX PAS. Southwest High School had booked BB’s LONG ago, for an EXCLUSIVE 50th reunion event today. Too bad they stood us up for the annual car show today. Although we were given numerous lame excuses, we all know $$$$$ called the shots today. They made no attempt to make amends. DO BETTER!!!!! Thank you to SOUTHSIDE, who accommodated us on short notice.

I was recommended BBs from a work colleague who spent some time living in KC…and this place delivered! Absolutely loved the food and the environment with the live music. Would go back over and over again.
This place has been around for a long time. Haven't been in many years and it hasn't changed a bit, wich is a great thing. Live entertainment was top notch and food was delicious.

Sat outside on a beautiful day, a little dusty but worth it! The meat was so tender, the sauces were so good, cornbread 😋 and I even liked the potato wedges (which I normally dont) definitely coming back!!!

The BBQ joint we were headed to was closed so we did a quick search around us and found this gem. Ribs, pulled pork, and burnt ends were delicious. If we are back in Kansas City we will definitely stop by.

This place is a hidden gem. Can't believe we have not been before. We sat on the porch on a beautiful day. Service was excellent and quick. The skillet fries are KC BBQ fry top 3 Contenders. The burnt ends were perfect, smoke ring, char, and yet still melt in your mouth. Will be back to try the rest of the menu. Kids meal would feed two adults. The ranch beans are great. The sauce is by far the sweetest KC sauce, but has a bit of spice bite on the hot sauce. Gonna guess they order brown sugar on a pallet.
