Been going here for lunch every once in a while for the last couple of weeks. After just my 3rd visit, not only was I recognized. But the ladies here 1. Knew that I'm frequently in a hurry, and 2. Knew that I use tap to pay, so when I finished my pork panang curry (phenomenal dish) one of the ladies brought the payment processor over to my table for me to use. That kind of service is unheard of. I love it. Thank you

Baramee has become my new go-to Thai restaurant in town. Great for both weekday lunch option as well as dinner since their service is quick without compromising the quality and taste of food.Their spice levels are accurate, unlike some Thai places that serve very spicy food as mild or vice versa. Their cocktails are good as well and they don't skimp on their alcohol.Highly recommend their curries and pad thai, as well as spring rolls. You can taste the freshness in their food. All of the ladies who work there are very courteous and friendly.Parking is fairly limited, street parking out front but not terrible to park a few blocks away and walk. There are some parking lots closeby, but some are permit only and some are paid parking. Also very close to the streercar station.Vegetarian options: A good portion of their menu can be vegetarian options if you choose tofu as protein choice.Parking: Street parking easy to find during weekday, Friday/weekend nights are tough.Parking lots closeby, but mostly paid or permit parking.

We had another fantastic dinner at Baramee. We've eaten here before and certainly will again. Service was attentive and courteous and the prices are very reasonable. Portions are generous and the food is excellent. Another of our party commented that it's the most authentically spicy Thai to be had in KC. I commented to the server that I requested a "gentle medium" as I'm not a fan of overly spicy. Being a white boy, requesting mild at most Thai restaurants results in bland and medium can be risky. The server stated "I got you" and she did; it was perfectly prepared. This was the first time we'd had their crab rangoon and it similarly was amazing - thin crispy wontons with just the right amount of filling and a delicately flavorful sauce. We had nothing missing or that we would change from our meals. As noted, we'll be back!Vegetarian options: Every dish with a protein choice has tofu as an option and it was excellently prepared.

Since the last time I have been to Baramee the restaurant went downhill. The restrooms were dirty, the dining area was unorganized, the service was horrible and the food was subpar at best. The older lady server was rude and inattentive. I’ll never go back. There are plenty other good Thai restaurants in town.

Went in for lunch and got seated. One side of the restaurant was completely full with people sitting literally one foot from each other, the other side was completely empty. Asked to sit on the other side and was told that it didnt make any difference. Obviously it does if we asked and didnt want to pile in on other people talking and eating without us at their elbows. Eating on top of other people was not desirable when there were plenty of other tables. Then waited 15 mins for someone to come over to take an order so we left. Have eaten here before and the food is good. Just a bad day maybe.

Disgusting doesn’t taste like anything. Noodles extremely dry and bland. Not worth the money at all. Worst Thai place in Kansas City don’t go here and definitely don’t get the pad Thai or pad see ew. Save ur money I had to get something else to eat for lunch.

Horrible!! Food smell was the warning the beginning and the ending,Spring rolls veg i paid for, the Pad Thai veg I didn't pay for if I would've tried giving that food to a homeless person It would have been a fight, and a dog would've beaten me.

Great food, terrible cocktails, good atmosphere! I love their food but it’s very $$ for Thai food. We spilt chicken pad Thai and got a cocktail each and it was $40 with out tip.
