The place is super cute and has a nice little vibe, the food is plated super well… however the service is not good at all. Second time I’ve been and everyone generally acts like they don’t want to be there. The bartender did seem to have some light behind his eyes and was friendly but rather in attentive for how empty the bar was. Like I said the food was plated well and for the most part was tasty, margarita was mid. I’m not a fan of how they seasoned the carnitas, it was a tad sweet and just not my thing but the loaded queso fire. I’d be willing to give it another shot for some apps and maybe a different bar drink.

Came in yesterday and I chipped my tooth on their ridiculously hard chips. Thanks a lot! In addition the service was lackluster as heck. A very tired bartender and a sun burnt, red face exhausted looking waitress. What a very horrible experience, wouldn’t recommend.

Nice chill atmosphere but the food sheesh , is simply just bad , we’ve given it 4 chances being that we work just a block down but it never fails lunch , dinner , even brunch ! It’s never fresh or hot ! And when it comes out chicken is slimy not cooked throughout, queso is always super super thick like it’s been sitting chips are not stale but no where near fresh I hope it gets better maybe have a drink here but don’t come here hungry

Our server was great we had a large party as soon we sat down we told gratuity was 20% and would be included and we said IT WAS FINE. Reassured them we’d work with them be patient and everything would be fine. So we try to order 40 shots and ask okay what’s the price and was told one price which was cool. They go to pay and it’s a very big difference so we ask why that’s it’s okay but why was it different. and then one of their servers start taking pictures and saying they were calling the police. Ridiculous.

Everything was perfect ?? No complaints! Got a strawberry mango frozen marg; a little extra strawberry syrup but wasn’t enough for me to not drink it. It was cool if you like sweet and I do so yep!Ordered loaded cheese queso dip. Made with only queso and topped with pico, a roasted flavored guac, and chorizo. OMG that hit different… Will return, service was great. Waiter came immediately before I even sat in my seat. Came early evening so not packed.

Food took almost an hour and most of it came out cold with no silverware, waters came out in dirty cups twice. Waiter did not come over to check on us or let us know the food would be a while.

Once seated, we were given two water glasses. 1 with long hair stuck to the outside and short hairs on the rim and one with red crumbs all over it. We had a baby with us who wanted to drink from the cup, but when I asked the manager about clean cups he just said "That's Tajin, it's all over everything." So?! The expectation is still clean dishware not Tajin in water cup? We waited for service and finally had to go to the bar to at least order chips and salsa. It got cold so we paid the rooftop waiter and then went downstairs to eat more. Sat down and were NEVER offered service in 20 minutes. We would have ordered more. Won't be going back. We miss Sol Cantina ?
