Awruff! Bay Boy Sandwiches at the Commons! Where even to start!
Tail-Wagging fun from the moment I walked it! Sports games, arcade games, lawn games, and skeeball! This place has it all! 🏈 🎯 🕹️I got a mouth-watering sandwich, The Bandit! Roast beef, smokey cheddar, red onion, raspberry jam and horseradish all on a delicious Dutch crunch roll! 🐶💚🥪
The atmosphere was high-energy and just felt less like strangers, and more like your own pack. It took a minute for our food to be ready, but it was so hot and fresh, and the staff were so nice I didn't mind!
10/10 🦴 will definitely be back!

Went for family lunch and it was great experience.
Everything about this place is good. Food is great, very clean, service is excellent. We were there first time and staff explained everything in details very politely and patiently.
Bit pricey for the sandwich but it is worth it. Going back for sure.

Googled hot sandwiches near me and here's where we landed: Bay Boy Specially Sandwiches. Exactly what we were looking for to tide us over till dinner! We ordered a cold sandwich hot and toasted. They'll make sandwiches to your specs. Excellent costumer service! Tasty vittles and old school sandwich shop vibe!
The chocolate chip cookie is rumored to be the Best in KC... it is not to be missed!
We'll be back and bring friends!

This was by far the worst sandwich I've ever eaten. We tried the pastrami. The bun was full of grease with very little meat. I could not finish the sandwich. It was terrible. We will not go back.

Went there for a family of three. We got three different types of sandwiches and they were all three. Absolutely delicious. The bread is truly something special with that crunch on top and nice and soft.
My only reason for four instead of five stars is the price. It was hard for me to justify spending $50 for sandwiches and two bags of chips.
Don't get me wrong. I understand the cost of writing a business is high and the cost of materials is high. I also hope that they pay their people well because that's what they deserve. All of its factories contribute to a high price which I can understand. As a consumer it does seem like a lot.

Great sandwich spot! Stopped in for lunch. Unfortunately the grill was broken on the day I visited, so didn't get to try any of the hot sandwiches. The Gobbler cold sandwich was great though! Really quality ingredients and fantastic bread. A relaxed atmosphere with a neighborhood vibe. Even had a spot for kids and adults to play board and video games! I will be back!

Absolutely delish. One of my bridesmaids picked up the club sandwiches on my wedding day, but I didn’t have time to eat while we were getting ready. I ended up eating it for a midnight snack (after it sat out all day) and it was still one of the best sandwiches I’d ever had. I will be back to try a fresh one asap.

These are the best sandwiches in KC. They are reasonably priced and delicious. Do yourself a favor and visit this West Plaza gem.
Parking: It's best to walk, but there is limited parking on the narrow street.

Best sandwich in the Midwest. Got the Italian and the sauces on each delicious piece of bread alone are enough to make me salivate. Do not miss this place. The dutch crunch is legit—and that’s coming from a Bay (area CA) boy myself!

we ordered the veggie sandwich, and honestly, I've been having a run of sad veggie sandwiches lately. but this was NOT a sad veggie sandwich in the slightest. this was the sandwich that absolutely reinvigorated my sandwichy spirit. the mushrooms, the cucumbers, the pickles, the onions... the DRESSING? *chef's kiss*. wish I could have that first bite again <3

Great little sandwich shop with homemade dutch cruch rolls. I had the Nebraskan, which is their version of a reuban. Would definitely recommend if you're in the plaza area.
