The food alone was 4-stars.The service wasnt great, but i come for the food. Second time having this and its sooo good. Im super picky so for me to try a new restaurant and like anything says something.I prefer lunch over dinner because of price; cant beat saving $3.

My family and I where in Kansas City for the Pink Ribbon Invitational Gymnastic Competition. Friends that reside in Kansas City brought us to the Bayou on the Vine for dinner. There was a $5.00 coverage charge secondary to DJ providing music. Atmosphere was fabulous. Staff was nice and personable. Food was excellent. Cocktails were good. Why 4 instead of 5 stars? I love the atmosphere. Live music is amazing. The wings are delish. I wish they were open later especially with a 10.00 cover fee. Tammy was my waitress and she is amazing! I have such a great time with her. I wish they'd turn the music up a little more during the band break. The drinks are pretty good. The atmosphere keeps me coming back.
