We have been visiting our daughter and grandson for the past year. Always visit Big Mommas for sticky buns in the morning and wonderful build to order lunch sandwiches. Owner is so kind and always willing to make your day just a little brighter. Located conveniently off Bannister road in front of Home Depot. Highly recommend a visit or 2 or 3…

They were out of biscuits and gravy and the cinnamon roll was just a piece of bread. A cinnamon roll is supposed to have layers. The only layer it had was the center and the rest of the roll was bread with icing on it. NEVER AGAIN! The only reason I ordered anything was because I wanted something sweet.

The staffing are great, greet you right away, an direct you to the menu in which is online (in advance you might need your phone if your picky) my order was prepared fairly quick for it to be wings, which are great by the way I mean a ton of flavor woke my pop out his sleep, an that mama ooey my gosh my be personal but I love butter cake it's like that with a butter milk pie vibes as well slight lemon taste yummy
An last but not least the the peach cobbler cinnamon bun is certified bussin
definitely stopping again when I see this truck

Let me tell you it was the best sandwich I have tasted in a long time. The buns are made fresh in house it really makes a difference. If you dont go and try them you are really missing out on a mouth watering experience.

Their homemade Chicken Salad Sandwich on homemade buns was fabulous! I'm so glad we stopped! We were too full to try a Cinnamon Roll or the Sweet Potato bar, but now we know this will be a stop on the future.

The signature bun had a wonderful taste and texture... 2 of us had the chicken salad and two had the 3 meat sandwiches. Everything was delicious!!!!!!

My husband and I stopped in on Saturday and picked up a couple of breakfast sandwiches. I let him know I had a severe tomato allergy and he immediately changed gloves and changed out utensils. It was greatly appreciated. The buns for the sandwiches were DELICIOUS.

In the middle of a remodel, but whoever is doing it is extremely sloppy. Cinnamon roll was to die for. Breakdown sandwich was shareable. Friendly service! Nice stop on the road.

Big Mamma's Bakery Cafe is a must-visit in KC! The cinnamon rolls were incredible. Even unheated, they were 5 stars. This Black-owned gem serves delicious breakfast and lunch at reasonable prices.
