The food is pretty good. You can’t go wrong with the burger, taco salad, chicken tenders, hummus, nachos, ham and cheese sandwich, some amazing wings or the giant pretzel. Great drinks and friendly staff! Big Shots is my go to bar if I’m going out. They also have music bingo on Wednesdays! I love this bar!!!

Within 5 minutes after arriving a fight broke out between two girls. They were there to celebrate a lovely young lady’s 21st birthday. The poor cook doubled as a bouncer so he was unable to make any food for us. But that was not the only reason we were unable to eat, the bartender pretty much ignored our existence. If I owned this place I would immediately rehire new staff. A fight broke out, it was not contained. A disaster would be a gracious compliment. Customer service should always be the number one priority, we probably would have stayed and spend some more money but it was incredibly hard to get served. We drove across to Creekside and got great service at Whiskey River.

I dined with my wife to watch an MLB Playoff Game on a Monday evening. Food was good and atmosphere was great. The only reason I give 4 out of 5 stars is that there is a charge for EVERYTHING. If you order a sandwich, the fries, chips or any other side item is a separate charge of $3.50. If you have a salad and order and extra cup of salad dressing, there is a charge on that too. Later on, when I had my check presented to me, and it was around $68 total. I handed my Credit card to the server and she came back with a receipt charge of around $72. I asked why I was charged something higher than what was presented and the server explained that there is an additional charge to use a credit card that the establishment has to give the surcharge to the customer for use of Card. Seemed a little dicey there. It is like who has $70 of cash on them. If you go here, just be aware that you will pay and you probably want to bring along lots of cash.

We had to wait 30 mins in between each drink being served, and when we gave our credit cards and checks back to the server, we were ALL charged a different amount from what was presented. Very disappointed in the simplicity of cashing out our checks. Also, there were only 2 servers working on NFL opening kickoff night when the local team (Chiefs) were playing.

I normally don’t write a review in response to a poor review but my husband and I were at Big Shots when Angie was there. It was clear this was someone inebriated and not thinking clearly. The staff were accommodating and helpful to her. Side note: We’ve been visiting Big Shots 1-2x per month for almost three years. Great food, reasonable prices and friendly staff that work hard. No issues experienced here.
