We love this little gem in downtown!!! My husband and I both had the "Weezy" burger and it had such a delicious, unique flavor. Loved the breading and the candied bacon on it and would totally order again! My lavender lemonade was so refreshing and we ended it with their delicious chocolates. We shared the blackberry champagne and the salted maple carmel. Highly recommended!

As far as specialty chocolate shops, Bizz & Wizzy has always had more of a boutique feel, smaller scale, quaint, and, of course, local. Is it my all-time favorite chocolate confectionery in or close to crossroads...well, I can tell you it's the one I visit the most. I absolutely adore their wide selection of caramels, especially the insanely unique Barbeque Carmel, an ode to Kansas City's barbecue culture. It is the perfect combination of salty and sweet and is my go-to each and every time I visit. But, Bizz and Wizzy doesn't only do designer carmels and truffles oh no! They also have quality baked goods such as a specialty smores scone I picked up during a walking tour of coffee shops in the area and their specific scone selection. But, I digress, the desserts don't even come close to the main course. Yes, you heard that right...a chocolate lover's paradise that also sells burgers and other lunch items! It's such a cool combo and the three burgers on the menu- The Bizz, The Wizzy and The Cheeseburger - are all under $8 to begin with and often on sale for $4.99 and did I mention they are melt in your mouth delicious!? Anyway, I truly love Bizz and Wizzy, and I bet you will too if you aren't looking for the most creative chocolates but, ones that are tasty...and a great burger to boot!

Delicious artisanal chocolate made in-house. Only place like it is Christopher Elbow chocolates about a mile away. Eclectic food too such as a cocoa nib and espresso rubbed burger, salads, and breakfast options. Didn't get asked how I wanted my burger, would have preferred medium vs well but did not detract from the positive experience.

Gal at the register was very pleasant. No delivery orders going out, not busy in store but took 28 minutes for a small order. Not sure what thats about. Food was 3 star

The chocolates were really very good. The employee was very patient as I had my crazy toddlers with us. A lot of work could be done on the decor and ambiance. It's not awful, just not great. The chocolates were fabulous and I feel like they should stick to that and cold food. I didn't love my meal. Tator tots are baked in the oven ( I can do that at home). I see a ton of potential here but also a lot that can be improved. I hope they succeed and we will be back for atleast the chocolates!

I was raised to eat everything on my plate and I'm not at picky eater at all. However, the bread is either tosted or made to be so tough and chewy that it made my mouth bleed. Not exagerating. Had to pick the bread apart with my fingers into small pieces to finish it.

My husband and I came in when a food tour stopped by. It was cool hearing the owner’s story of how they came up with the name for the business. I had the peach iced tea and the portobello & blue cheese sandwich. BOTH WERE AMAZING. Service was quick and you can tell everything was made with love. We shall definitely return.
