Had a great dinner at Blu Hwy with my daughter. There are plenty of vegetarian options. Shishito peppers app was so good, as was the corn chowder. They even comped our dessert for my birthday. Our waiter was the best!
My first visit to Blu Hwy, but I'll definitely be back. Our server was great, attentive but not pushy. The menu had many brunch choices that all sounded tasty. I ended up with the biscuits and gravy with breakfast potatoes. Good choice! Soft and slightly sweet biscuits, flavorful gravy with sausage that was more like kielbasa than pork sausage, and the potatoes had peppers and onions cooked in. I can't wait to return because the Cobb Salad sounded great. We went on a Saturday at 11:00 a.m. and most customers were sitting outside as the weather was beautiful. But in or out, it wasn't crowded. I had reservations, but at least on this date, I didn't need them.
Who knew Blu Highway would become my go-to eatery post-pandemic? Terrific lunch specials highlight a super changing seasonal menu. Dinner is best saved for a cool evening to enjoy the patio. Cheers...

Great place. Had a live band/musician. Food and vibe were good. Service over all could have been better. Especially the order taking and the drinks. Live band could have been the issue the server asked us to repeat ourselves and forgot one app. Drink took a good 20$ and even longer for our second round.
I recently visited Blue Hwy and had a pretty enjoyable experience. The vibe is laid-back and welcoming, which made it a nice place to relax and enjoy a meal. The menu is creative, with a good mix of dishes —they use fresh ingredients, and the flavors are bold. Some dishes were missing salt.
That said, the service was generally attentive, but there were some longer wait times when it got busy.
Overall, I think Blue Hwy is a great spot if you're in the mood for a casual but slightly upscale meal.

It was fine. Happy hour humus and deviled eggs were good. The wine was fine, size was small. The dinner portions were also very small for the price. Drinks apps dinner and dessert and we had no leftovers and spent about $70 per person. The entree was not bad but pretty mediocre. I don't mind spending money on dinner if I leave raving about a dish or with good enough portions for left overs but this wasn't the case. You can get a better meal at many other places for the price. Cute restaurant. There was a live musician at the bar so that was cool. If I went back I'd only go for happy hour and sit outside.
Biscuits are the best part.

It was a birthday celebration and the staff was very attentive. The food was very good, with appropriate portions. (Not overdone or excessive). We very much enjoyed our dining experience
Andrew was an attentive, knowledgeable waiter (and was helping train another waiter, Weston) It was our friend's first dinner here and they raved as well. They were featuring a new menu -all 4 of us ordered different things. We had play tickets and Andrew made sure we had our bill quickly.
Very cozy, great decor, lots of windows to view street scenes and a great front patio. Food is delicious, sounds simple but there are some very satisfying little touches that make it very unique.

Cocktails are on point and the food is absolutely delicious. I seriously cannot get enough of the filet. You had me at foie gras butter ?
But the DESSERTS.....!!! It's so hard to find a good dessert place these days and this has it all. Ice cream cookie sandwiches, funnel cake, banana pudding, and don't forget about the CREME BRULEE....... double delish.
Check out their weekly lunch specials. $20 for 2 course lunch and i'm out the door in less than an hour, i think i was in & out in under 45. I'll be back with some friends/coworkers for sure.
? Parking was no problem with the garage around the corner and plenty of street spots. That VW bus out front is seriously adorbs.
Vegetarian options: Decent selection based on what your limitations are. I would say however the vegan options are very limited.
Parking: Street parking around and in front of the restaurant. Free gravel parking lot across the street and free parking garage (with validated ticket) on same block as restaurant.
Kid-friendliness: They have kid menus! I was eyeing those buffalo chicken sliders for myself
Wheelchair accessibility: Very wheelchair friendly both inside and on the patio

My boyfriend is a huge brunch fanatic and has been wanting to give this place a try. We made a reservation for Sunday, and I'm so glad we went!
Everything about this place was perfection! The food was amazing, service incredible, and the restaurant itself is so cute and cozy.
We got the big red burger with a fried egg added, as well as the breakfast sandwich. I've been dreaming about those breakfast potatoes ever since.
We definitely plan on going back soon ☺️

Blu Hwy, a hidden gem in the bustling cityscape, is where you want to end your day. Start with the pork tenderloin sliders during Happy Hour. These little beauties are a testament to the magic that happens when you take quality ingredients and treat them with respect. Juicy, tender, and bursting with flavor, they are the perfect antidote to the day’s grind.
Wash them down with $3 High Life’s, the champagne of beers, because sometimes you just want something ice cold and uncomplicated. The bar staff? Proper, attentive, and they know when to keep the conversation flowing or leave you to your thoughts.
Tuesdays bring a welcome surprise with half-off wine bottles. It’s a rare pleasure to sip a good wine without the usual sticker shock. And then there’s Friday. Live music. The kind that makes you feel alive, tapping into the soul of the city and its people.
Blu Hwy is more than just a restaurant; it’s a refuge, a place where the mundane is left at the door and life is savored, one delicious bite and sip at a time.

Our dinner was amazing! The house salad is so delicious! And the Big Red burger is fantastic!! The grilled oysters were just okay - I think they would be better without the bbq sauce. Our drinks were perfect and our server - Maria - was so friendly and helpful. A gorgeous evening - we sat outside and had a lovely evening.
