A shoutout to Daniel, who works at Boling's at the Plaza location - You are the best! Daniel has worked there for 20+ years, and his service is top notch. He always goes and above beyond to take good care of his customers. He puts his heart into what he does everyday, and he would remember regular customer's likes and try to personalize their services and take care of small details to make them feel like VIPs. We have seen him interactive with lots of regular customers, and he genuinely enjoys taking good care of his customers and you can tell he takes pride in seeing satisfying customers. Between the excellent foods, top notch services Daniel and others provide there at Boling's on the Plaza, Boling's is one of ours and many others' favorite dining spot in KC! Thanks Daniel!

I have liked bolings for years. however, recently, i have had several negative interactions with them where the server was exceptionally rude and would act like he was doing me a favor by taking my order. Then most recently, when i ordered something they burn't it. I'm not talking about slightly well done, the egg rolls were actually black. Because it was take-out, i didn't realize until i was home. Frankly, this place has gone downhill and the service is the same.

So nice to dine at a CLEAN Asian restaurant.Table side ervice was superb. Never once had to request anything. Wait staff was right there filling our drinks, bringing flatware and sauces. Anticipating our needs. Pleasant, attentive and swift wait staff.Wonderfully prepared, flavorful and beautifully plated appetizers and entree.

Restaurant was a big disappointment. Decor is dark without the slightest bit of a Chinese theme. Food was just mediocre, not as good as many independent Chinese local restaurants where you'd pay less for better food.

Came here for lunch and it was delicious. Out of all the locations, this is probably our favorite. We both got the Mongolian beef.

One of the best Chinese restaurants in KC! Truly authentic cuisine with great dim sum and Chinese dishes. Beautiful decor and ambiance! Service was a bit slow though the servers were kind and friendly. We waited almost 20 min for dessert but they gave it to us for free because of how long it took! Always a great experience!

I was looking for a good dim sum place in Kansas City and Bo Lings is very promising! There is limited parking in the plaza around the area but there is a parking garage across from Panera that is a pretty short walk to the restaurant. We came on a Saturday afternoon and it was surprisingly not busy. Since there wasn't a lot of people, it was clean and had overall quiet vibes! There were plenty of servers to help us and refill our waters. Food also came out quickly after we ordered. To order, you make the menu with how many orders of each dish you want, so it's not traditional push cart. The food came out hot and was seasoned very well. I'm excited to come back and get the other dumplings we didn't get to try!

Inwent to the plaza location the food there was bland no the calamari tasted like it was batter in flour/corn starch/ water with no seasoning the crab rangoon was cream cheese (only) wrapped in a won ton wrapped the chicken wings tasted like old greese the sauce that they were in had no flavor my fried rice had to have at least 6 scrambled eggs because there was more eggs than shrimp chicken or the BBQ beef and it was bland I was offerd soy sauce to add flavor my wife had a sizzling plate thst lacked the sizzleThe owner made no attempts to replace my order she said i can either pay for and leave it or pay and take it homeThis was a waste of $93.00I should've stuck to my original plans and went to Jersey Mike's

If you're looking for dim sum this is the closest you'll get to in the KC area. While it is lacking in options, it is usually decent and hits the spots.before Covid they would usually push a cart around and man it would take forever to get to you after sitting down. After Covid they have you fill out a form on what you would like. I usually prefer it that way so I don't have to go hunting down the cart. I only go to Bo Lings for dim sum and not their regular menu as I don't really find it authentic to other places. If you're being adventurous try the chicken feet, hau cao, shumai are usually my go to.

Delicious! We were in the Plaza district and randomly decided to eat here. Wow, what luck! Everything was absolutely fabulous. Ambiance was exactly what we were looking for. We'll plan to eat here again. I'm adding this to my favorites list!
