From the appetizer, main course, to the cheese cake it was ALL phenomenal! My husband has high expectation and this pub exceeded them all, very rare!! So yummy, good atmosphere and outside seating! Please raise the chefs pay!!! Everything was so delicious!
Overall a great meal, there were just some small thing we found to be weird/off. Wife had fish and chips and it seems the batter was just a little over worked because while fried well, it ended up a bit chewy. The biggest weird thing for me is the use of fried cheese instead of just raw curds and let the gravy melt the cheese. Just felt out of place in poutine when it’s generally just the curds. Everything else was really good.
Had a fantastic lunch with the family - everyone left happy and full! We tried a little of everything on the menu and loved it all. Could’ve eaten 2 buckets of fries - homemade and perfectly done. Thanks for the great meal!
