This is my favorite restaurant in Kansas City as a new native. Brady's has great beer and liquor selections that compliment a diverse menu of traditional pub fare and Irish favorites. From crab cakes that blow away the East Coast taste I was used to and swore by, to desserts that even someone like myself - I have no sweet tooth - crave. Friendly staff, comfortable atmosphere, I couldn't recommend it more.

Absolutely one of the BEST "hidden gems" in all of Kansas City! The chef, General Manager and a few other employees are actually from Ireland! So who better to serve and create an authentic Irish experience... Parking is limited but opens up during the dinner hours on the street and in the lot across the street. Once you walk in you are transported to a true Irish pub complete with old, dark wood and that "warm by the fireplace" feeling. Dine on authentic Irish pub fare elevated by a very well trained, Irish Chef! Sandwiches, 4 different versions of sheperd's pie, fish and chips, lamb, steaks, mussels and daily specials that rival most restaurants throughout the city! And once you have made it through the menu, just ask the chef to make you something special. Regulars here choose the protein and he surprises them with an amazing off menu entree! That's the kind of personal touch Brady's Public House provides to it's guests! First time we came we had an assortment of appetizers. Then half of our party ordered that night's dinner special- 16 ounce grilled ribeye smothered with an herb & roasted garlic finishing butter, served with roasted potatoes covered in a leek & Irish white cheddar cheese sauce plus roasted brussel sprouts tossed with a bacon jam. My friend literally ate his oh so tender, mouth watering steak with his spoon. And all of us kept raving about the cheese sauce on the taters! The desserts were also exceptional and perfect endings to a great meal along with a true Irish coffee. Or a glass of one of more the 60 Irish whiskeys & single malt scotches they have to offer! Go for lunch. Then go back for dinner! Then keep going back! After dining here a few years I can promise you that this place will NEVER get old!!!!

The chicken pot pie was delicious, made exceptional by the flaky biscuits. Fish and chips were also excellent! Their selection of whiskey and beer are outstanding! I think this is a hidden gem of a restaurant/bar.

Much nicer on the inside versus the outside. Wait staff was very good and informative. Food was very good, fresh, and came out quickly. Would recommend.

Brady's feels like a friendly neighborhood pub. it's not in the best part of town nor does it boast fancy furniture or art but that's not what this place is about. the liquor selection is phenomenal and the bartenders know their stuff. I was really surprised at how good the food was too! Overall this place gets 5 stars because of how friendly the staff were and because the food and drink were great.
