This is the least authentic Mexican cuisine in the entire KC metro area. Good thing it basically doesn't cost any more than Taco Bell because it's not even that good. I had the signature burrito and it was totally deplorable. Margarita's on SW Blvd or Lunar Azteca up north is 99% better than this place. I could barely finish my food.

Got brunch and a pitcher of margs for national margarita day and it had to be the worst margarita I’ve ever had. I feel bad because I didn’t drink any of it and the server was awesome, but I’m irritated I wasted a whole gift card on a terrible margarita🥲

WOW! WOW! WOW! My husband and I went here for the first time and both of us were so impressed. Elaine was our server and she is amazing! The food and atmosphere was great as well. I saw a few reviews that made comments regarding it being pricey which we feel is way off. The prices are spot on. We will definitely be back!

I’ve been to Barrio many times, and always leave happy with the food and service. I usually ask for Carli anytime I go in, she’s always smiles, incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, drinks, and daily/ seasonal specials, and giving great recommendations! Highly recommend a frozen marg, drinks are reasonably priced for the pour, especially during happy hour!

Came to Barrio to celebrate my mother’s birthday and it was delightful! The menu, atmosphere, and team at Barrio made it the perfect place to celebrate. Our server, Carli, made us feel right at home. She answered all our questions and was extremely attentive to any needs!

There is just nothing impressive about this place except the bill, it was way overpriced. Been on a few different occasions at different times on different days, always the same. Extremely boring salsa and chips (which is sad), food just average at best, service always just a little off or slow.

The absolute worst service! Our server brought me the wrong drink after a 16 minute wait, she acted as though it was my fault, I then ordered a beer. Then we ordered one more beer for my husband and food, after another long wait we were brought a beer in small plastic cup and told it was the same price as a beer in a pint glass. We asked for a manager, she was ZERO help and of course offered NO apology. We went ahead cancelled our food order and paid for the original 2 drinks.

Nice and clean atmosphere. Great service. Great food. The elote was really good. Draft beer prices were priced reasonable.
Fried potatoes were a nice surprise under the kabob. Grilled chicken and the fried ground beef taco were great too.
Definitely try this place out if you haven't already.
We had the pleasure of having KIMBERLY as our server & she was absolutely wonderful! She was friendly, knowledgeable & made the evening a great experience. The Carne Asada Kebabs are delicious & the Coconut Margarita is the best I’ve ever had.

*Update* Came back for a FOURTH time! Brought more friends!! Our waitress was Diamond and she was an absolute delight! Such a beautiful smile and sweet. She kept our drinks full and was very helpful when it came to ordering. Our friends loved the the place and were very impressed with the quality of food. Great job again . Yall rock!!
Just went back a 3rd time! Brought some friends this time! They loved it too! You guys are awesome!! My favorite spot for barria tacos!!! Gracie was our waitress and she was awesome as well!
Second time visiting here and once again, we LOVED IT! This time we came for my daughter’s birthday. We came on Halloween and our waiter was dressed up as Jim Halpert from the Office (my favorite show!!!!) His real name was Oliver though. He kept our drinks full and our table clean. You could tell they were short staffed because he was running non stop. But he had a smile on his face the whole time! A great employee.
The food was hot and delicious! 🤤 We had loaded queso, Barria tacos, beef nachos, and the Burrito Leacha Leibrae*. All of them were so delicious. The chef did a great job.
