We love Brick House. The food is always spectacular and the service is usually good. The atmosphere inside is cozy but lively and it's very nice when the back patio is open in the warmer months.

We stopped there for a little Happy Hour before a night at The Kaufman Center. We had never been there before since it is not really close to where we live. That being said, next time we head down to the Symphony, we will probably stop by. 🙂

Went to brunch with a group of 8 on a Sunday. This place was packed. Surprisingly the host was able to accommodate the party with little to no wait. They honestly had me at bottomless mimosas. The food was so good. I mean really good. If ever in the Kansas City area, def give this place a try.

Every single time we go here the service is so bad. They skimp on drinks, especially the mimosas, and the food is mediocre at best. The patio is nice. Have given this place several chances, but won’t be coming back.

This has become one of my favorite weekend brunch spots. The food is delicious and the vibes are always right! Their sausage gravy is top tier & legit the only place I will eat it. Highly recommend this eatery.

Went here for a work meeting after work. We ordered appetizers. I like that when my drink was too strong I was offer a free non-alcoholic beverage to cut down the alcohol. However, the appetizers were very burnt. Cheese curds are not supposed to be crunchy y'all.

I ordered Classic Burger with side Caesar Salad for takeout. I was a little disappointed that I received American as I had asked for pepper jack cheese. I had to call to order for this reason as there was no way to request this online. I am probably partially to blame considering the bartender did repeat the order back though. Regardless, I still ate every bite and I will be coming back again!

I don't know if this is typical for the place or not but it was extremely loud there last night. Like the kind of loud you cant hear what the waiter is saying kind of loud. (??)
I ordered the mushroom & swiss burger with tots. The burger was actually good! But with those kinds of burgers they can be dry because there's no sauce of any kind added...and the burger as a whole, was dry. Not the meat, the meat & mushrooms were perfect. Just think about adding some sort of sauce please! Garlic aioli??
My overall impression was 'medium'... I would like to go back a different day & see what it's like without all the noise, but it wasn't the kind of thing I would crave (food-wise) & have to go back for honestly.
Still... 4 stars. Service was great & attentive, food came out fast & seating was comfy. So, definitely give them a try when you're down there.
