I will go to this Broadway Cafe location when I'm not feeling that social or I'm just in a hurry and don't want to run into 20 people I know! Great little spot. All the delicious coffee, great service, and chill vibe, just less crowded. Highly recommended.
I ordered the 20oz ice tea and added watermelon syrup to it. It was sweet without being overly so. Such an amazing staff and wonderful atmosphere. Definitely a go to for any coffee or tea lovers.

Be more rare restretto method of producing coffee that they use here matches the character of this place—which it has. I love my little shot of restretto. Of course it's bitter but the taste and feeling of it stayed with me all day and into the next It was a nice feeling. Kansas City is extremely blessed to be with very few Starbucks and a lot of magic little coffee shops. One feels as if they've left the continent (or travelled to it as the case may be). I'm glad I found this place!

Probably my favorite roaster in KC. Not sure why I haven’t rated them yet. Owners are very knowledgeable and focus on small scale rather than what Messenger/Roasterie does and try to monopolize KC.

As awesome as the coffee is, the barista (Elliot) and the owner (John) are more so. We just popped in for some coffee and John showed us around.
We saw coffee as it first comes out of the bag (from various places)...and spoke about the roasting process.
This location is the Roasting location and they do also have a Cafe down the street (I haven't been there yet).
The drinks were fantastic. I am on a Cortado kick and so I ordered that.....and it tasted fantastic. The latte was delicious too.

Located in an old firehouse, this roaster serves up award-winning coffee beans from all over the world. This isn’t Starbucks, folks. They roast their own blends and single origin beans on two commercial drum roasters. They go a bit lighter on their roast profiles, so if you’re looking for burnt toast French roast or Viennese roast, this is not your place. Go find an ashtray and drink that!

Insanely rude staff, they talked to a customer like they were stupid. and it’s so ghetto that they don’t have ALMOND milk
The one thing that's been in Westport for longer than any other shop in for a good reason it's quality

A really lovely place. Delicious coffee, cozy space, but most importantly, kind staff. My car broke down in the road right in front of the cafe and I came in to grab coffee and charge my phone while I waited for a tow. The barista gave me my latte on the house A very kind and generous gesture that made my bad day less bad ♥️

I find it sort of funny that some baristas have an air of superiority when all they do for a living is make drinks for us. That weirdness aside wouldn't have earned the one star rating, but unfortunately the coffee is just not very good. I've visited the shop several times making excuses for them and hoping it was just a bad pour, etc.., but alas, they maintain their one star status. :( This is unfortunate because I am working in this area and would love nothing more than to have a trusty coffee shop to regular.
I'd like to give it a 5, but there there is a particular barista who always seems angry, unpleasant, and seems not to consider that there are people waiting to order drinks. She manages to move remarkably slow. Hoping she'll eventually move on, or better yet, learn to enjoy her work.
