My car broke down in the road right in front of the cafe and I came in to grab coffee and charge my phone while I waited for a tow. The barista gave me my latte on the house A very kind and generous gesture that made my bad day less bad ♥️

I find it sort of funny that some baristas have an air of superiority when all they do for a living is make drinks for us. That weirdness aside wouldn't have earned the one star rating, but unfortunately the coffee is just not very good. I've visited the shop several times making excuses for them and hoping it was just a bad pour, etc.., but alas, they maintain their one star status. :( This is unfortunate because I am working in this area and would love nothing more than to have a trusty coffee shop to regular.

I'd like to give it a 5, but there there is a particular barista who always seems angry, unpleasant, and seems not to consider that there are people waiting to order drinks. She manages to move remarkably slow. Hoping she'll eventually move on, or better yet, learn to enjoy her work.

My absolute favorite place to get coffee. Hands-down the friendliest people and no waiting in line if you go to the Roastery. I call my order in and it’s ready for pick up. Please give this shop a try-you won’t be disappointed.

This is an amazing small business in KC that roasts its own beans. Coffee is on point. Service is friendly and had no problem letting me work for a couple of hours while in town. Purchased several bags of roasted beans for home and was not disappointed. Only wish...a pastry beyond a croissant that was good but oh so crumb producing.

Known for the coffee they roast, Broadway Roasting Company espresso is smooth and the lattes are creamy. The staff was so kind and efficient in churning out drinks quickly as the line began to form quickly. The only pitfall is the older ambiance of the floors and walls carries the sound, so it is a bit loud. And the furniture isn't comfortable, BUT that may also be part of the strategy in turning tables too, so I respect that.

This is a must go to in Kansas City! The staff is friendly and engaging and of course the drinks are done to perfection. While we were there Hanna and John let us watch the bean roasting process and answered all our questions. Great place, makes you feel good to support this Kansas City business!

No one greeted us when we came in. There is only one girl here who is ever nice when we come here.
