For my first visit, I had the Sushi & Sashimi Platter. What a feast!
A large gamut of their culinary offerings were on display here and it is worth it. The variety of fish, preparation styles, and presentation are both delicious and engaging.
I'm looking forward to more visits.

Good sushi is hard to find in Kansas City because it truly is an art form. Couple hard to find with fresh and creative rolls and you have only a few options to pick from. Brookside Sushi is among one of those greats.
The staff was so friendly and helpful to make great selections. One of the owners was making the amazing drinks.

The spider roll was cut too thin, it was falling apart before my chopsticks got to it. It was lacking all around, not much flavor, zero texture and zero satisfaction.
Food is incredible - we got the gyoza (they were BOMB), house salad, ramen, and a few different rolls. All of it was great and the staff were super friendly. We’ll definitely be back!

not really sure why this place is reviewed pretty highly, because my experience was.. weird. I was served HOT sushi, which i have NEVER experienced before. Is it normal for california rolls to be served warmed? Honestly, it was gross. would not recommend if that’s how it’s normally served. and if it’s not, why was mine hot? They also served me my sushi in a price chopper bag, which i was pretty confused about. 2/10, don’t trust
