Food is incredible - we got the gyoza (they were BOMB), house salad, ramen, and a few different rolls. All of it was great and the staff were super friendly. We’ll definitely be back!
The sushi was okay, but the service was not good. The waitress didn't know what was sake sushi or tamago sushi. They got the order wrong and tried to give our dish to another table and another table's dish to us. It was a date night for my husband and I, but we couldn't just relax and enjoy.

Good sushi is hard to find in Kansas City because it truly is an art form. Couple hard to find with fresh and creative rolls and you have only a few options to pick from. Brookside Sushi is among one of those greats.
The staff was so friendly and helpful to make great selections. One of the owners was making the amazing drinks.
