We were there early on a Sunday and the staff was welcoming and ready to go. Good atmosphere
This is such a neat restaurant. The inside has such a classic subtle vibe, kind of reminds me of the 40s. The food was amazing as was the service. We each got different variations of Caesar salad and both the salmon and grilled chicken were phenomenal.
I'm never disappointed when coming here. Food is fantastic. Drinks are awesome. One of my favorites here in Kansas City.
Went with a friend here because of their recommendation, was not disappointed.
I ordered the Philly Hash and the sour apple cocktail (don't know if thats the actual drink name). I was blown away by how good it was.
High quality in taste and presentation which was fair for the price.
Despite the restaurant being full shortly after opening, the wait times were average and I didn't feel they took longer than necessary.
Highly recommend, looking forward to going back.

Kind of upscale but you feel comfortable wearing street clothes.
Our server, Olivia, was very attentive and patient. She recommended a few items and nobody was disappointed by what they received.
The food was excellent and the wait time was very reasonable.

A cool, vintage space with a great menu of comfort foods. You won’t leave hungry. Brown & Loe lives up to their reputation.

Really high-quality food and a fantastic atmosphere! The great, simple Caesar salad was so good! The short rib French dip was fantastic, too. Kris was a wonderful and attentive waiter!
Dagwood sandwich was very dry and the brisket was flavorless. Came with an egg on it that was cooked very hard. If it would have been over medium, it would have added a little more flavor. Maybe they should make it an option on how the egg is prepared. Quiche Lorraine was good, a little greasy. Service was very good, waiter had a fun sense of humor.
We love Brown and Loe. We always get great service, drink choices are good and the food was very good!!

Really cool restaurant and bar in Kansas City's Historic River Market District. Sat on the outside patio and had a KC Cuban Sandwich with seasoned fries. Real cool old fashioned bar inside.

The Food was delicious and the atmosphere was great! We ordered the arancini, meatloaf and salmon. We put this restaurant at the top of our list.
Ambience is amazing. But, our server was slow, indifferent, and she seemed bothered with having to engage with our party. Our meal took two hours, she definitely forgot to put in one of our dinner orders and didn't bother to check, so the manager had to get involved, and her overall demeanor and poor service diminished what should have been been an enjoyable dining experience at a great restaurant. It's not a good sign when tables around us are being turned and we are still waiting for meals.
This is very easily my new favorite restaurant. I'm not new to mushroom sandwiches, but I *am* new to them being THAT DELICIOUS.
