Sandwiches seem to be smaller than in the past, but the whole meals still seems to be a good filling size. Prices seemed to have crept up just a bit.

We had the Pork Noodle Bun dish and Lemongrass chicken. Both were delicious and fulfilling. Will definitely reorder either of these. Their Bahn mi sandwiches are also marvelous.

I’m saddened to share that Bun Mee Phan is now under new ownership. For my friends and me, the previous owners were what truly set this place apart from other competitors in the area. It breaks my heart that we didn’t have the chance to say goodbye to them.
While the food is still good, it’s not quite the same, so I’d recommend adjusting your expectations to avoid disappointment. The pho was still enjoyable, but the banh mi doesn’t compare to what it used to be. The service is great, but it no longer has the warm, mom-and-pop feel—it feels more like a standard dining experience now. The staff is friendly, but it’s just not the same atmosphere.
To the previous owners, if you’re reading this, we miss you and understand your decision. Thank you for the wonderful food and the welcoming atmosphere you created. To the new owners, I wish you success and hope you carve out your own place in the community.

Guess there's new owners. We've lived in the neighborhood for a few years and the offerings at Bun Mee were always top notch (I always loved the female owner's social media feistiness personally). They recently shut down and did a re-model. We were excited to try it as the menu appeared the same. My wife always gets the lemongrass chicken rice bowl (lot tinier serving than the previous owners) What she got was completely unrecognizable from what she used to always get, the food itself wasn't horrible but she didn't want to finish it. The tofu banh mi I got was cheaping out on ingredients mega. The bread was unrecognizable, the thing fit entirely in the palm of my hand (this never has happened in my life!). We will be giving it another shot down the road but this review I am hoping will offer some constructive criticism for the new owners and their remodeled business.
Everything in this review is my opinion. The food warrants a 3 star (I’ve been a few times, didn’t hate it didn’t love it) but reading through how this owner responded to other reviews earned them a 1 for the following reasons:
1)threatening legal action against a reviewer. Really? Reviews are opinions and are not actionable in a court of law, including this one. Using slap lawsuits to silence critics is unhinged.
2) responding to a customer that if they don’t tip the staff, the staff “works for free”. Pay your workers better. I tip at sit down restaurants because I know a lot of owners are cheap and screw their employees over. In my opinion this shows the owner probably doesn’t compensate their staff well. Really cool of you.
A few other things were wild, like fighting customers over wanting to split a bowl of pho. That’s really silly. Some of the negative feedback from the owner seems fair, but that seems to be the exception rather then the rule.
I can’t wait for the owner to call me cheap, threaten me or maybe surprise me with some unanticipated negativity.

Their sandwiches are extremely good! If you don't like spicy be sure to take the jalapeño off when you order they pack a punch. The spring rolls were filled to the brim and the peanut sauce was one of the best I've had. I recommend the lemongrass chicken, very refreshing or the chinese pork!

I visited today for takeout and I had a wonderful experience. Everyone I came in contact with was very pleasant and were all smiles. The service was amazing and the food was even better. I cannot express how good each item was, from the iced coffee to the pho, it was all worth every dime. I will definitely be back soon!
I just saw a review about this place with a customer not tipping and the owner replying “learn how to tip”. Tip is not required and it is optional. I came by here and the customer service was not it. Did any of the workers check on us? The answer no. How do you expect a paying customer tip you but you’re not professional/ doing a service to meet the expectations of being tipped? Do you expect everyone to tip you guys if you give bad service? That’s just unprofessional. If that’s the way you operate your business, then bye ??.
Update: since you don’t like to take accountability for your actions then what kind of owners are you guys? I’m a server as well in the restaurant industry as my family owns a business. Instead of being mad and defensive about what customers have to say, why not improve your “customer service”. You “clapping” back to a review is an example.

Their Pho is fantastic. Sometimes it is slightly noodle-heavy though. Maybe that’s just me wanting more of the delicious broth though ? I love the boba as well. Always tasty and never a long wait time.
Service was not that great. Food was okay. I wish they gave more veggies tho. Spring roll peanut sauce was too sweet for my taste. I got little sriracha for my pho.

this place is FIRE!!! the pho is so flavorful and dense. the spring rolls are huge and fresh. the iced coffee is delicious. Genuinely love this place, especially because you can just order and sit anywhere.
