If you're coming for bar-b-que, my picky husband said it's some of the very best he's ever had and it would be hard to beat. If you don't eat meat or are a pescatarian like me, this is probably not the place for you. My salad was nothing fancy, very basic, yet was $20. Not worth it at all. But my husband loved this place so much that I had to give it a 5 star rating. The drinks from the bar were good and only $9, which I thought was great compared with so many other places.

Came in for lunch. Ordered the PK sandwich with Burnt End and a side of Mac and a bloody Mary. My daughter got the Chop sandwich.Pk sandwich was delicious. I mixed their thick n bold sauce with the hot sauce. It was a good combo. The coleslaw was eh not much of a fan. The Mac was a bit watery.

A small group of retirees had lunch after touring the Hallmark Visitors Center. Good food and service. Only issue was the sun shining through the glass roof and into some of our faces. We kept moving around at our table until the sun finally moved into a spot that didn't shine directly on us.

We visited on a busy night, so it took some time for our server to get to us, but they were kind and quick to get our drinks and food to us, and to check in on us often. Very pretty restaurant, nice view outside of the street & fountains in front of the mall. My group got a variety of foods, and everyone enjoyed what they ordered.

Food was fantastic! We had the Pit Bowl, and Burnt End Sandwich. Loved the beans and Mac n Cheese. Server was attentive and food was quick. We went a bit before noon and no wait, it did get busier around 12:30. Highly recommend!

It appears of Sam (guy with beard )was offended on sight. Server with long black hair heavy make up, orange lipstick brought food over, making weird face as if food stunk. Mabey they didn't feel like working. I rarely leave reviews, so mabey this will help staff be more self aware. Staff made want to leave as quickly as I came in.

They don’t give you BBQ sauce on take out orders. If you’re visiting KC avoid this place at all costs, bad representation of KC
my wife had been wanting to try this place for awhile. i have to be honest, i was a bit disappointed. we split the 2 meat plate (about 26.00). with the onion straws and cornbread bites. the onion straws were cold, the beef and pork burnt ends were just ok. i have had much better bbq in my hometown of springfield mo. nothing terrible about the meal, just nothing to write home about.

Ya'll, I was so disappointed-ESPECIALLY because I literally *craved* some decent "Q". Atmosphere-excellent (Crown Center location), Service-the same. The food-garbage. Got 2 Burnt end bowls & from the 1st bite, I could feel my blood pressure rizing??♀️(& I dont have high blood pressure). From the weird tasting baked beans to the Burnt Ends-entirely over salted, over sauced & just...no. My 12 yr old Son threw it away-as did I. ?-$40 bucks thrown away.

I've been here twice. The burnt ends are wonderful, and the ribs are fantastic. I didn't have to add bbq sauce because the food was wonderful.
