This is an excellent and unique cafe serving interesting and delicious food and drinks. I tried the Spicey Mayan Mocha and it was fantastic. The combination of chili, cocoa and coffee was a new experience that elevates the classic Mocha. I also tried the Jalapeno and Cheese Tamale which was absolutely killer! Service was great and the interior was clean and welcoming.I will definitely make a return trip next time I'm in KCMO.Highly recommended!

Café Corazón is such a cute coffee shop. Very warm and welcoming atmosphere. I ordered the Dulce de Leche coffee and really liked it- that’s what I would recommend. They have free wifi and free parking in the back. I will definitely be back!

Cafe Corazón is a gem! They have all your coffeehouse favorites with a Latine twist. The spicy Mayan mocha is my go-to, but everything I've tried has been amazing! You can also buy tasty treats and a variety of cool merch items and items from local businesses. There are times when the indoor seating is busy (KUMC is close, and this is a cozy spot to meet and study), but there's nice outdoor seating in back.
The best coffee, ambiance, service, and mission around! The few times we've gone, we have gotten coffee flights. They have mocha flights, latte flights, and seasonal flights. This allows you to sample 4 coffees at once, which I love. The seating area is small and can get crowded. There's a few 2 top tables, bar seating, and a center community table. The service is always superb and the coffee is delicious.

I very much enjoyed this coffee shop and this is why - Drinks (5/5): when you live in a city where things can get monotonous, especially when it comes to food or drinks, hidden gems like Cafe Corazón really show us how cultures and international flavors can really spice things up. Everything on the menu is a hit so far (drink wise. Have not tried the food)Service (5/5): The two baristas working the day I went were super inviting and friendly. I really loved the energy of the cafe. Ambience (4/5) even though the space isn't super fancy or unique, it's very cozy and you can find a place to sit with a power outlet if you choose to do work. Will definitely come again!

Holy empanadas!!! Everything at Cafe Corazon is delicious and fresh, and my newest obsession is the Ratatouille Empanada - chock full of veg and served with a lovely sauce. My partner and I came here recently and tried the winter special lattes and both are super tasty. The staff is incredibly kind and hardworking too, as the place was surprisingly packed on a Thursday afternoon and they handled it with grace. Not so surprising I guess, when the quality of food and service is what it is. We'll definitely be back!

PROS:-staff was very sweet and friendly-coffee tasted good, just too much cinnamon -vibe was very welcoming CONS:-ordered online and request ASAP for pick up and it was 30 mins from when I ordered. I got there early and ordered another drink and got that faster then my order-cheese & jalapeño tamale was very dry Would love to come back and try empanadas or breakfast burrito
