On our visit to Kansas City, this cafe was the only “must visit” on my list and it did not disappoint. If I lived closer I’d be there regularly. As it is, I enjoyed everything about my one visit.The storefront is unmistakeable, and I knew I was in the right place by all of the people coming and going. (Side note: the KC Current were playing later in the day and it was a thrill seeing so many women’s soccer fans in the house!)I got an Iced Mango Sticky Rice Latte and I’ve never had anything even remotely similar. The espresso was smooth. The flavors were complex while also tasting distinctly similar to mango sticky rice.KC is seven hours from my home but I’d consider making the drive regularly to support this small business.

i tried the electric and it was very good! the espresso was very fragrant and strong. although my latte was pricey - $8.39 after tax - it was very good, and props to them for having such creative flavors. although i didn’t get to try their special year of the dragon menu, everything looked delish. the decor is also beautiful! i will definitely be back.

“HELLA GOOD COFFEE” is painted on the back wall and it speaks the TRUTH lol! On my first visit, I got The Mind drink with coconut mushroom foam and was blown away. The next few times I got The Body and Hella Good, both with the mushroom foam again because I’m legitimately obsessed! They do not skimp on quality here. The drinks taste exactly as described on the menu, and each flavor is defined and well balanced. This is beyond a standard Vietnamese cafe- the menu is innovative and the vibes are soo colorful and inviting! I’m treating myself here whenever possible!!
