I made some time for myself, and scooted downtown to enjoy the weather, take some pics, and grab a bite to eat. Boy oh boy.... did I hit the jackpot! I got some great pics and found a new restaurant!I ordered the Humble dish, and thoroughly enjoyed it (as well as the atmosphere). It was scrumptious for my tummy and the visit was nurturing for my soul! The hospitality and conversation was a much needed human experience. ?⭐?⭐?

An u expected gem! We just stopped in on a whim while walking around and were very pleasantly surprised! Vegan menu is not normally something I seek, but the food was delicious and fresh and the staff were friendly and

We were seated and 12min later we still had not been greeted by our server (though we were obviously ready to order). It was a light lunch crowd (5 tables seated total) so was not due to being busy. Would have loved to have tried lunch, but we were on a tight schedule and left.

Went in to Cafe Gratitude on a Saturday with a girlfriend after receiving an email about a new dish called “ I am bold-loving-tasty” the sandwich. In part of the description they use the word BBQ which I’m not a fan of and almost deterred me from ordering….. but I love Cafe Gratitude and decided to throw caution to the wind and order it and I did. It was delicious!! I was a little nervous about the tofu as well, because I’m not a big fan of tofu. The chef at CG nailed it! It was seasoned perfectly and just a great meal. I encourage anyone reading this to go try it. You won’t be disappointed.

The food was delicious and the staff was super kind. I was visiting from out of town and was pleasantly surprised to discover this place! Be sure and try one of their specialty teas - they're great!

If you want to do something good for your body, go and have lunch at Café gratitude. One of the best vegetarian/vegan places I have been to. I love the concept, the friendliness of the staff, the idea of having a question of the day to chat about while waiting for your food. My salad was so big that I took the rest home with me: perfect balance of crunch, taste, healthy ingredients. Recommended.

Cafe Gratitude remains one of the top vegan restaurants in Kansas City. While many vegan restaurants have come and gone, CG gets it right by offering a wide variety of dishes made from healthy real foods that appeal to plant eaters and omnivores alike. They offer seasonal menu items to keep you coming back, and rotating desserts that are perfect for any occasion.Vegetarian options: 100% plant based menu

I cannot say enough great things about this place. We came right before close on our first night visiting Kansas City and of course they were already cleaning the grill which is totally understandable. The hostess made sure to invite us back and when we came in the following day, it was worth the wait. Both days, she was extremely kind, welcoming and helpful in her suggestions. The plant based food was delicious (I am not vegan) and the heart of the restaurant really shows. We watched them so lovingly take care of a gentleman experiencing homelessness in a way that most businesses would not. This will be my first food stop every time I’m in KC. They even have a postcard program promoting gratitude by writing out why you’re grateful for someone and they mail it for you. This place was such a beautiful experience.

Honestly, for vegetarian food it wasn't horrible. It was a nice place with a cute little atmosphere but it's very crammed and not really the best place I've been to. You need to be able to have a lot of time to sit and wait. And also if you're not vegetarian or vegan it may not be the best place for you.

Love this place! Food is great, but the service is out of this world! You know when it's a great place to work when the servers hold conversations with customers. You don't feel like a number. They take their time and take care of you. Thanks for making such a wonderful place.
