I loved the Sunday afternoon DJ with local singers talking the mic and blessing us with song. This cafe is a great concept and has a LOT of potential. It gives young people the chance to get involved in the culinary arts. I'm proud of this establishment. With a few tweaks, this dinner is gonna be great. Improve the wait times. Fine tune the menu. Turn the music down so people can hear one another talk at their table. Keep going ❤️

Very good food. Had the Mardi Gras pasta. Full of flavor and a nice portion size. I also had the peach cobbler. They also had a patio for outdoor seating with a bar and another back room that can be rented out.

I wouldn’t recommend if you’re plant based/vegan. While it is appreciated to see more restaurants including plant based options on their menu, it disappointing when the options have no real effort put into them. The vegan Philly sandwich came out with nothing but sautéed peppers and onions & vegan cheese when the menu listed mushrooms as well. It was brought back out with mushrooms but honestly it was apparent there was no real effort put into the taste of the vegan menu. The sandwich was very flavorless. I was told that the cauliflower wings listed on the vegan menu aren’t actually vegan because they put an egg wash on them which was confusing as to why it’s listed on the vegan menu. I ordered the walnut smoothie which also lacked flavor and could’ve used a little agave or cane sugar. The fried okra was good. The last confusing thing was that they added a 20% service charge to my bill that they removed after I requested to know the reason for?!

Pros: charming little diner with lots of potential. The food was good and reasonably priced. I had honestly been really looking forward to trying this place after I drove past it. The menu looked amazing. I’m always a sucker for chicken and waffles and these were pretty good.
Cons: If you are looking to sit and be able to get your food quickly this may not be the place for you. We came in already knowing what we wanted and from the time we sat down to when we got our food it was at least 45 minutes. There were only two tables in the restaurant before us so it’s not like they were super busy. By the time we got our food our appetites had already diminished and we were honestly ready to go. Additionally we asked for no peppers, no onions on the Philly and they still put a lot of peppers on it. It would have been nice if the server had checked on us more than the single water fill up. We weren’t even sure how to pay so I just went to the front to ask if I could pay as we were ready to go.

Just had the Billion Dollar BLT and French toast with chicken. Got the home fries for a side . Best home fries ever. Amazing garlic aioli on the BLT and perfect juicy chicken with a mouth watering french toast. They just made morning!

My man picked up our food we ordered online. The store never received the order but the payment was taken online. They prepared the food while he was there, he said the atmosphere was okay they seemed as if they were just there. So overall not welcoming. The food has both of our stomachs hurting. I ordered a breakfast burger, the description said it was a smash patty and that was probably one of the biggest burgers I ever had took a couple bites and its not my personal favorite. Both my man and child’s waffles were soggy. Im disappointed in the quality of the overall experience.

My experience here was absolutely disappointing. Food was doused in minced garlic and had a weird taste. Food was not edible AT ALL. It was one server and my husband and I told the waitress that we were disappointed with the food. The waitress told us that her mom was not back there cooking and the aunt doesn’t put LOVE in her food. Food was inedible and was given to dogs. My dogs didn’t even eat it, so that says a lot. Anyways, waitress told us to come back and there will be a better experience. Was not impressed and it was our first time going. Disappointing.
