WOW!! My wife and I just happened to stop in on a Sunday after paying our respects to Buck and Satchel at Forest Lawn. Mind-blowingly delicious! Jasmine and friends first greeted us with big smiles and kind voices; Jasmine would be our server. We were the first ones in the door, and things were just getting started. The overall vibe was perfect for a Sunday morning; smooth sounds were playing while the smell of heaven lofted from the kitchen. With one glance at the menu, we knew what we were eating this morning. I had the chicken fried chicken, and my wife had the blackened shrimp and grits. (you can see she started eating before I could get a picture) We were both served a plate of love, food for the soul. After spending the summer running around the south chasing baseball, this took us right back. Soon, Mama B came by to check on us, and shortly after that, her son Mark the owner, came by our table. It's been a while since I've been to a church, but on this morning, the family took me to see God. While there was no way we could eat another bite, we got some more to go.
They are new, their menu is expanding, and we cannot wait to get back. A-MAZE-BALLS!

I ordered food for pickup during business hours and received confirmation that it was processing and then ready. When I arrived, the place was completely closed and locked up upon arrival, still during business hours. I already paid and definitely want my money back

My wife and I finally tried this restaurant for takeout. We were incredibly impressed with the food!! The owner was really nice, and it's definately one of the small businesses we want/need to support in KC. I tried the philly cheese steak, and it was the best I've had in the city so far (here for 8 yrs).
Highly recommend!!
Parking: Just a smaller parking lot. You may have to park on the street in front or near the business, but the walk wouldn't be more than 30 yards.
Went in on a Sunday for buffet and family karaoke and was very disappointed. For starters there was no music or karaoke, buffet price was way too high for what they served. There was no salad bar just spring mix and salad dressing. The fried fish and macaroni was the only thing worth eating on buffet. Staff was very nice and pleasant!

This place is great. The food is far from basic. It is seasoned well and cooked to perfection. The staff are awesome. Very, very professional. I had the Mama B's Big Breakfast - that was the best egg over easy - not under or overcooked! And that bacon was super tasty. Don't sleep on Cafe Reflections. I'll be back for blueberry pancakes or B&G.
Parking: I pulled right up to the front.
Kid-friendliness: The bar sets off to the side. So a family could definitely dine while other people set at the bar.
