I've been going here for decades. Usually get the Carlitos burrito w chili and cheese +2 tacos. Other things are good too. Always delicious. Generous portions. Tacos are loaded with cheese. More falls off of theirs than other people put on.

Watch your wallets here, folks. I have been overcharged the last 3 times I have been here. Carlitos Burrito Platter costs $12.01 on the board. They'll charge you almost $16 for it. Either intentional or inexperienced help at the cash register. I'm done with this place.

Yikes. It was literally microwaved and they didn’t even microwave it long enough to melt the cheese in the burrito. Drive two minutes down the road to any other Mexican restaurant. This place was seriously awful.

The worst "Mexican" food in KCMO period! We love to try new places and typically judge a Mexican/Tex-Mex restaurant on salsa, margaritas, service, taste and overall experience. So with only two people working, One in dirty sweat pants taking our order then helping "prepare" microwave all of our food, I was beyond underwhelmed. If I wanted a meal out of a can and warmed up not even hot all the way through and served on a paper plate with flimsy plastic wear I could have had my 9 & 12 year old prepare it. At least then it would have been hot. Taco Bell 2am or leftovers or even next day reheated would have been better.

Gross. I understand this is someone’s livelihood but I can’t resist. My order was cold. I had the enchiladas and they microwaved it to heat it up. The styrofoam plate they were served on was half melted. The cheese wasn’t even melted. The chips were pretty stale. Overall it was a bad experience and I can’t see it changing soon. Wont be back.
