Visited their location up north and met the owner Ernest. Hands down the best fish sandwich I have found in the Midwest!

I stopped by on the way to Montana to grab a quick bite and they were under construction. I told them I was just passing by and they offered to fry some fish up for me. I loved the hospitality they showed, I love the batter on the fish, it's well seasoned and very crispy. I didn't get to try anything else unfortunately, but if it's fried and has the same batter it'll be delicious regardless of what it is. Next time I'm driving through, I'll have to stop by again.

This place is awesome...loving the food really, never been to a place that gave fish and ribs combo.. fish was a little salty but wow, I was 15 minutes late picking it up... Still hot and crisp. Okra, a definite for soul food kitchens everywhere, is tender inside and not greasy at all. Loving the equally important Mac and cheese..those two items can sink or float a good soul food joint. Well let's get to it, the rib tips we're not a disappointment. They were tender enough to be appropriate to stick your fingers in your mouth! I mean you could really get with them, sucking bones and crunching cartilage.. if you're that type!

Their tactics are a little unethical. I called and asked if they had a particular item they told me they would have it in about an hour and that they were fixing it at that moment. I waited about an hour and THEY called me back and said that it was ready. I went all the way over on 68th and prospect and they tell me they don't have it because they sold out yesterday. They then started rattling off what they did have which was one of what I wanted. I decided i made the trip so I will get something so I tried the fish which I was told was whiting. I could eat it but it didn't taste like any whiting I ever had and I was raised on whiting. The fish was not fresh but it wasn't nasty. The cabbage and greens a no, they were overcooked and bland. The yams even though they were canned yams were to die for the best thing in the entire meal was the canned yams. The should probably only sell yams. The food was Palatable but nothing to brag about but the yams. I will not be going back. Done

From out of town. This food truck was a pleasant surprise after a Royals game. Generous portions and tasty. Would eat at the truck again.

Not goons lie this food is good as hell!! My company requests them to come sometimes and they sell out every time. I recommend the 4 piece fish w/ candy yams and the cabbage !!!! Don't forget extra hot sauce !
