Don't sleep on this place! I ordered dinner here last night for take out, and was floored by this meal. The portions were HUGE, the flavors were on point, and everything stayed fresh and traveled well-- as if we were eating at the restaurant.I highly recommend the pakora. My god, so good. The chicken was also SO tender and flavorful. Definitely get a couple sauces as well; they were so delicious and added a little zip to everything.I think I should add that the gentleman that helped us pick up our order was so polite! I highly recommend this place.

Hidden away in a residential hood in KC, MO, this little gem serves first rate Pakistani food, not to be confused with Indian cuisine. Yellow Lentil entree is delicious. Onion pakora are off the chain. Now they serve outside or to go only. a nice small patio is available. Recommended. Close o Brookside.

Indoor dining was closed off when we visited and they were not serving. However, it was a nice day and the owner (I'm assuming) told us we could order pickup through the app and he would bring it out to us and we could eat on the patio. Patio situated on a pretty quiet residential street. Service was quick (around 20 minutes) and food was so delicious. Great vegetarian options! Will definitely come again when in town! (Note: this is a late post, we ate here for lunch 9/29)

Family owned and operated. The best Pakistani / Indian food in the city. Authentic chai and mango shakes. The intimate restaurant is the real deal! From street food to full dinners, Chai Shia has it all!

I can't believe I've lived in the Kansas City area for years and now just found out about this restaurant. Granted I don't have the same experience as most of the other patrons. In the time of COVID-19 we only had the option of delivery or ordering takeout. But it was a beautiful night and they let us sit on the patio to enjoy our take-out meal. They even served us too. The Entire meal was delicious and we had plenty to take home. I am looking forward to coming back here and try the other dishes. They have a wide assortment of vegetarian options. Be sure to try the roasted corn.

Wow, such a unique blend of Pakistani and Indian cuisine! The lamb korma, achari chicken, and paneer masala were all excellent (the lamb especially was so tender). I also loved the samosa chaat, which was super filling for the price. Next time I'm going to ask them to make it a bit spicy, but otherwise the flavors were spot on. The outdoor patio space was also lovely. I look forward to coming back soon!

So delicious! I got takeout and it was very fresh and warm! Not all restaurants are good at takeout, but they nailed it (and with contactless curb side delivery)! Tried the beef samosas and the Achari Chicken, both were 10/10 delicious. I will definitely be coming back soon!

Very Unsatisfied with the service. Ordered Achari Chicken for pick up. The curry and rice was mixed up in the container and the naan was laid on the top in the same container. When we called to complain, the girl was very rude. And food did not taste the same. The quality was bad and the portion was very little.

Amazing food! Such a cute little place for a date. If you do takeout there is a park to the west that has nice tables to eat at too.
