Very cool place, my son loved all the decor. Sports memorabilia covering every inch of wall. The food was great and the staff was friendly.

The memorabilia is cool to look at and full of history. We were greeted warmly and quickly seated. The food left alot more to be desired unfortunately. The soup of the day, a tomato bisque, was textured and tasted odd. The appetizers were absolutely doused in dried food glitter (aka parsley) in an attempt to dress them up to look pretty, but it just added a dry flavorless crunch where it wasn't necessary. There was so much on my sauce for my potstickers I had to scoop it out just to dip them. The appetizers tasted good, but they were simply ready made frozen apps that had been fried. The entree I ordered was the London broil, and it was cooked well, and was flavorful, but it was ice cold when it got to me. The mashed potatoes were good, but were practically rendered inedible by the brown gravy that was swimming in worcestershire sauce. The vegetable of the day was sautéed spinach and it was devoid of flavor and deprived of even basic salt. It tasted like just bitter greens, and mine had a hair in it. The server promptly took it away and even have me a coupon for a free appetizer, though I dont know if I will return to use it... The carrot cake was delicious, just a bit too cold, but still tasty. The service was great, museum was cool, but the food was very underwhelming.

A little worse than an Applebee's, but not bad. Great service. Could do with a menu revamp. Maybe it's good for the usual clientele. Kind of place to take your grandpa

They have changed the menu, it seems to be for the better. I have not eaten here in a decade because I was dissapointed with the food. Not so much anymore.

I suppose it's rather grumpy to complain about this local favorite, but it's just not my cup of tea. Not many GF choices, I got a burger with no bun, which annoys me, and the burger was just okay, a bit tough, the cole slaw was edible; overall nothing above typical pub food. The service was adequate, but hardly doting. I wouldn't rush back.

Went on a first date here almost 28 years ago….loved the restaurant and atmosphere. Fell in love with the man that took me there and still with him to this day! ❤️
Had a great work luncheon and our server was quick and on it!! ALWAYS taking care of every one of our needs, we had 30people and they had 2 other work parties. Food was good etc. ATMOSPHERE was great...cool place. The parking police were out and about giving tickets...if over your time ur gonna get a ticket. They need to look at parking garages or shuttles from parking lot etc..
Parking: Dont park longer than signs state...you WILL get a ticket/fine

Chappell's Restaurant offers great food and excellent service! A special shoutout to Faith for going above and beyond to assist me. She kindly looked up a receipt for me from a month ago, which was incredibly helpful. Her professionalism and willingness to help made my experience even better. Highly recommend this place!
