when ordering a meal that comes with two sides your ticket will likely be upcharged for large sides at a rate of $3 per side, despite not asking for large sides. this turned what should have been a reasonably priced meal into an unreasonably priced meal. no big deal because my meal is being reimbursed since I'm on a business trip. however this could be bad for those on a fixed or limited budget. upcharging on sides when the meal comes with side turns the tip from 20% or more into what I feel the service is worth. when I didn't ask for large sides and get charged for it, then tell the waitress the tea sucks and I'm charged for that too that waitresses tip drops fast. beware of the shady tactics to boost your bill, for benefit of the restaurant and the waitress thinking a higher tab will translate into a higher tips. Not the case. the burnt ends were good. the turkey was not good. the sides were ok. the minty sweet tea was not good. the tea tastes like you're chewing wintergreen gum while drinking tea. it's gross.

Great food, ambiance gret as well and the dessert OMG the breaded peach pudding , you can't miss that one!

This place came highly recommended by several people. Never end burnt ends so I had to give them a try, WOW! They melt in your mouth . Paired with their naked bbq sauce was bomb! I also had to try their famous wings after hearing Travis Kelce talk about them on his podcast .. everything was absolutely perfect. I'll definitely be back of I'm ever in KC

Got a burger and sweet potato fries. The burger was delicious and hit the spot. The sweet potato fries not so much. I got it to go so maybe they hung out in the bag for too long but the fries were very disappointing. Just a bag of soggy wet potatoes for $8. Zero crisp to them. BBQ was excellent though.

We were here for a Saturday Brunch meeting. It was a good choice because it was not noisy and we could all hear. It was also a good choice because the service and food were both very good. This is a barbeque place but they had a large brunch menu with all the traditional and several unique items. They went above and beyond as well, handling special requests and our server was happy to check with the kitchen for specific items, such as allergens. I am looking forward to going back at lunch or dinner to try the barbeque. It looks really good.

I recently dined at CharGrill and it was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, but the real star of the evening was my server, Clarissa.

Clarissa went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. She was attentive without being overbearing, incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, and her recommendations were spot on. Her aura and overall amazing personality made the experience even more enjoyable.
