Kudos to you for your courageous stand during the pandemic. I know that cowardly Corey Owens, whose business is PaintingSolutionsSKC, a painting company with what he and his wife think is a “clever” logo featuring two intertwined Nazi swastikas, left you a bad review for requiring vaccination for your customers during that dangerous time and I just want to commend you and thank you for doing your part to protect fellow Americans. Stubby little Nazi coward Corey can’t even spell “riffraff” but I’m glad you made sure he knew he was a piece of it. You are not alone; crappy Corey is coming after my community too, focusing weirdly and troublingly on victimizing our children. Nazi Corey is both pathetic and dangerous and needs to be kept out of places where decent people go. Good luck and thank you again for your courage and strength.

Very fresh food when it comes to making your own nachos and pool tables that are free. Love that. Open to all and a wonderful place with wonderful music

American service is so much higher than everyone else's, it truly takes something spectacular to earn that fifth star anymore. There was nothing wrong with the service, but it wasn't memorable.

The beer was good the place was great and I had a good time. However, if I'm being honest, I don't remember anything specific.

Great space - games are free with a drink order at the bar (NA included). Home made sodas and great cocktail menu along with several (NA) Non Alcoholic drinks and cocktails. Can’t wait to come back! Service was also spectacular.

Arguably the best bar in town. Beautiful room with completely free Diamond pool tables and a small stage where they have cool local singer/songwriter acts. The door man controls the flow of the place beautifully when it's busy, and helps out elsewhere when he's not needed at the door. The bar is small, but has an excellent selection of local and handcrafted beer and spirits. I cannot speak to their wine selection. The food is simple, but whomever cooks it obviously cares about putting out a good product. I love to see locally owned places like this flourish. Keep it up!

Stopped in for a networking event. We didn't have food, and we didn't shoot pool, but really enjoyed our time here otherwise. Cocktails were delicious, service was great.

Chartreuse is one of my favorite bars in town, operated by one of the finest owners I've ever met (been in the business for a long time). The food is phenomenal, especially the nachos--everything is so fresh and crisp. The beer and spirits selection rocks. The pool tables are extremely well maintained and cherished, and if you grew up playing pool like I did you might know how rare that is.

Chartreuse has had tons of love poured into it and it absolutely shows. The regulars are all fantastic. The music is good, especially the live acts that play there. Everyone who works there is an absolute gem. Just a wonderful place, well worth your patronage and always fun. I'm not sure if google would take this review down if I mention the owner's other business but ask about it--that one IS my favorite bar in town.

Vegetarian options: You can get the custom/combo nachos as a vegetarian dish.

Parking: Ample parking in the parking lot out back, and more than enough street parking if that lot fills up during First Friday or a T Mobile show.

Wheelchair accessibility: The front door is wheelchair accessible.

Really neat vibe, one of the only bars I have been to in KC with zero proof liquor drink options for Mocktails.

Might become my and husb's regular haunt whenever we're downtown. Love the dimmed lights and nooks, Kelcey the bartender is a total sweetheart who took my weird "surprise me" drink requests in stride on 2 separate visits, and they booked a hell of a live band of pros (Accidental Project) on my second visit - they were so good that we broke away from our group to sit closer to the stage! The only downside to me is the limited cocktail menu/flavors. IIRC many drinks were whiskey- or bourbon-based, so I had few options left. The canned wine was great though!
