Absolutely delicious, cinnamon roll was good. The big biscuit meal was amazing. Staff were great. Would eat here again.

Good service and location but the food was just underwhelming. If you want GOOD breakfast food in the area go to Dagwoods, they are always packed for a reason.

I have been going to City Diner for over 30 years...I am a sucker for a good local spot and this one fits that description to a T...I used to go on the weekends from time to time when I lived in the suburbs ( a 30-45 min drive ) but a few years back I moved to the River Market and was only 4 blocks away...Now I live downtown so only maybe 3/4 of a mile away...I go 3-4 times a month and even order delivery when busy with work...I am also lucky in that both of my kids love the place so when they are around we usually hit it for Saturday breakfast...We always sit at the counter ( for the true diner experience ) and the service has always been 100%...I am glad we have the City Diner and I am glad I taught my kids ( 22/Daughter and 26/Son ) to appreciate a good local greasy spoon kind of joint...See ya this Saturday !!!

It's a nice diner. It's not very big, but the few times I have eaten there it's been good. I would recommend it

The perfect breakfast or lunch joint on the east side of The River Market. There are no bad menu choices. Great service

Food was good but the prices were a little high for a diner. $3 for a cup of regular coffee. $41 for 2 people to eat a standard breakfast seems high

Ordered take out. No napkins, no utensils, no cheese on the hashbrowns as requested on their website and chicken fried steak was way over done and we tiped for a take out order

Grabbed a grilled cheese, some hash browns, and a coffee for breakfast and everything was solid. The food came out fast and tasted fresh. The grilled cheese was toasted just right and the hash browns were golden. Coffee was hot and they kept it coming. I will definitely stop in again.
