Went to city diner to have brunch and walk through vintage market days in city market across the street. The location of the diner is perfect for a weekend brunch and city market combo! The food is very good and it's a cute small diner the kind of place you would see an old man in suspenders at the breakfast bar! The menu isn't large but very good food and good service!

The absolute worst breakfast in Kansas City there is nothing fresh on the plate except for the eggs..manufactured pre-cooked sausage ..Sams club style biscuits( hockey pucks)package gravy mix.frozen potatoes..I don’t know how this place has been open since the 30s.. it’s awful .. will never

I was in the area for my job an do had to stop by. The waitress recommended the BOB and Boi was it worth it. It was so hearty and jaw dropping amazing. 100% recommend this place!
Not often I drop the 5 star bit this place deserves it 100 percent. Amazing menu for breakfast and lunch..reasonable prices which is hard to find anymore. Service is exceptional..attentive and old school legit. Very cool small little corner cafes that are going away in these times..this place is a must if your in the market and hungry for as close to homage as you get..bravo guys..CANT WAIT TO COME BACK!
