Stopped in for coffee and a quick bite and the place was just great! Had two kids with me but they had cartoons on the TV by the bar at least. I was mostly just there for coffee which I drink black but the server was great the cinnamon roll that I think was too rich for my kids was fantastic and the breakfast foods that I tried we're all great. I'd make it a point to visit this place next time I'm in KC

The host great gave me the menu and I sat at the bar. I was not greeted by the guy at the bar when I got there but I guess he wasn't my server. I was greeted after I got a chance to look at the menu and decide what I wanted to eat. I knew what I wanted to drink and eat. Bloody Mary but should have said spicy. George is hands-down one of the best bartenders in Kansas City. Every visit to The Classic Cup on The Plaza feels elevated because of him. Not only does he make incredible drinks with consistency and skill, but he brings an energy that’s genuinely welcoming. He remembers faces, remembers orders, and treats every guest like they’ve been coming in for years.
