The place was booked with reservations when we showed up. They had two empty seats at the bar so we grabbed them. So glad we did!! The bartenders were fun, the service was great (my glass was never empty and they were busy), and the food was really good!!! I'd recommend Cliff's Taphouse to my friends!!

Had an excellent beef tenderloin here. It came with mushrooms all over the top and was delicious. I picked waffle fries and the mac and cheese for my sides, but of which were great. Lastly, I had a couple of bites of the chocolate cake which was solid. Also, they had Shirley Temples on the menu which is super appreciated by me!

Grabbed dinner here on Thursday night and it was the perfect balance between casual and high end. Great service, nice ambiance, and a unique menu with options for everyone. I had the lemon shrimp pasta and it was delicious.
Parking: 20 parking spots right next to the restaurant. If that lot is full there is street parking.

It was my first time here and I enjoyed it cuz it was chill laid back kind of pricey so I went during happy hour and for that tap has burger I paid $12.30 It was an average burger but it wasn't a bad burger. The staff was extremely extremely nice. And the people who sat at the bar were very very welcoming it was an overall good experience.

Great cozy place to watch the Chief’s ! Best kept secret in Kansas city! Great bar, burgers and beer! Lots of TV’s and the sound is on! Big bonus! I love this taproom! Chanler the bartender does a great job at the bar! Definitely going to be my go to when in Kansas City!
Place is awesome. We came with our 1.5 and 4yo and it was a great experience. We were sat immediately and right away the manager came by with two little plates with goldfish and sliced grapes for the kids. So thoughtful! We ordered the kids chicken tenders for the kids and it was a huge portion and was ready in less than 5 min. My wife and I split the Asian chicken salad to start and it was fantastic. My BBQ burger was a perfect medium rare, juicy but not dripping and so tasty. My wife said her chicken sandwich was great and then we got their chocolate cake which was awesome as well. I enjoyed the Woodford old fashioned. Made the right way and not too sweet. Our service was attentive and always prompt and smiling. We will be back. 🙏

This spot is not worth the hype. No roaches or furry friend chocolate droppings. But, the fries are bagged and fried to the point of being burnt. The burgers and chicken sandwiches, are salty, burnt and the sauces that come on top taste old. Cocktails were meh, beer on tap wasn't flat, so there is that.
