If you are looking for tasty food, good drinks, and a relaxing patio in Kansas City?? Cliff's Taphouse off Gillham road. We happened to go during happy hour and ordered an appetizer off of the happy hour menu. We started with the Bruschetta for $7, which was stacked with fresh ingredients. I ordered the MASSIVE buffalo chicken wings off of the happy hour menu for $11. I also ordered a side of creamy mac & cheese. My friends ordered the large Steak & Gorgonzola Salad. During happy hour, there are select $5 cocktails that you can pick between if interested. The service was great and attentive as well. I will definitely be back for happy hour and brunch asap! Highly recommend Cliff's Taphouse in Kansas City if you are looking for a patio and great happy hour deals.

First of all my go to meal has always been Salmon, Haricot verts, and some of the creamiest mashed potatoes ever! This is my comfort plate without breaking the bank! To top it off a piece of delectable rich and moist chocolate on chocolate cake! The best place to grab a night cap, chat with Larry the owner and enjoy my neighborhood! Always 5 star happiness here!

I agree with the majority of reviews regarding the service which was very pleasant and welcoming. But I must say the food left me/us feeling very underwhelmed. The burgers were dry, the Mac and cheese was nothing more than pasta with cheese on top, and the side mushrooms were not what I expected. My fault because I assumed that they would be fried. Again, my fault for not asking. Granted they did inform us that they did not put condiments on the burgers, but again assuming wrongly, that they would at least include packets/containers of the missing mustard, ketchup, etc. It also would have been nice to have each of the four different orders (containers) marked as to what each one was without having to open each one to pass out.

Cliff's has been come a regular spot for my wife and I. Whether we get take out or dine in, the food is always fantastic. It's also great when there is live music. This is our favorite spot for sure! I recommend the BBQ Burger; there are great gluten free options as well. 10/10
Came to cliffs tap house after unwelcoming service at Tower Tavern. Was not disappointed from the time we entered. Instantly greeted and welcomed to choose a seat anywhere. I forgot our servers name but after some conversation we discovered she was from CA like us. food was amazing! Lobster Mac was the right amount of cheesiness and very tasteful, the bread crumbs seal the deal. The mushroom sausage flatbread was delicious as well with the perfect crunch. Great drink options and friendly servers as well as owner. very clean & friendly atmosphere! Will be back!

Really cool joint at the Martini corner. Had a burger and sweet potato fries and was really impressed. Very generous serving and the burger was amazing. Staff was friendly, always kept our drinks filled. Will be back soon!
