Always have a good time , and the salted bun. Must get
We've dined here multiple times but today found the food very average at best. The seafood bisque was very underwhelming. Our server provided very good service and was very courteous. There was a very large party seated in our section for a birthday party and were very loud. Definitely took away from the overall experience as well.
Our server was amazing! We had such an amazing brunch and we really enjoyed our experience
We love Cooper's Hawk and we wanted to bring our family to enjoy Easter Brunch. It started out great! I think our server got busy and overwhelmed, then forgot to put our order into the kitchen. We ended up waiting 1 hour for our food to be delivered. I know kitchen get backed up and it isn't the servers fault. But tables that came after us were receiving their food....like large tables. It is a bummer because we really enjoy Cooper's Hawk.
We waited over an hour between our appetizer and our entree. Our waitress disappeared during this entire time and we only knew they were working on our food because the manager popped by after 40 mins. One entree was ice cold. One was badly under cooked. Received one drink refill the entire 2 hours we were there and only because we asked when our check was delivered.
The food is always so good - especially the Brussels sprouts and calamari (best we have ever had!). The service is exceptional - we have had Brennen wait on us a couple of times and he is fantastic, knowledgeable and fun.
First time and I know will not be my last time. For day 3 of being opened everyone and everything ran smoothly. The servers all had a smile and very welcoming. The food was delicious and the wine đ· tasting was a fun experience. I canât wait to go back. Thank you for helping to make my birthday đ special and yummy.
Went with a party of 6 today. Our food took over an hour to be served. Absolutely terrible. To be fair, they comped the appetizers and some drinks. Still, absolutely awful and will never go back. Food was ok but not worth the wait. Seated around 8:30pm and we were the final table to leave when they finally brought the check around 11pm. I'm usually super patient when a place gets busy but this was beyond reasonable. Multiple people apologized and they offered free desert but overall a terrible experience. Definitely will never go back. Maybe it was an off night for them but why risk going again.
My husband and I try to make practice of date night every weekend as we need that time to connect and unwind after a stressful work week and caring for our highly dependent special needs teen. I have high expectations when it comes to customer service, as everyone should. I used to get embarrassed when my dad would âmake a sceneâ when getting poor service or food quality, but he taught me to speak up when my needs were not being met. 1) We arrived on time for our reservation as did multiple others who appeared to have been waiting 30+ minutes in the extremely crowded lobby area which also doubled as a shop and wine tasting venue (too much crammed into a small space). We were ushered to bar seating even though we reserved standard seating, as we were told it would take more time. It was so noisy in the bar we could barely carry on a conversation and our table was smack in the middle of all the bar traffic. Not at all relaxing. 2) We ordered a couple of wine flights. The waitress had to be reminded to bring us water after we got our wine, when that was the first thing she promised to get us. 3) We ordered our food. I ordered a house salad and the drunken shrimp appetizer from the gluten free menu. After over 30 minutes the manager informed me that the kitchen did not make my appetizer gluten free and was making it again. Honestly the ingredients listed on the regular menu didnât even appear to have gluten in them - looked to be the same and couldâve easily just been prepared GF for everyone to avoid complexity. No one wouldâve missed the gluten. 4)By this time other tables had bread (and they do have GF bread) but we had none and it was never even offered. I noted that while the table next to us had bread they had been waiting for dinner for quite a while as well. I do not like to drink my wine without food. 5) An hour after we ordered we still hadnât been served. No one ever followed up with the kitchen after their initial mistake. I complained to the waitress and told her I expected to be comped. There was also absolutely no reason they couldnât have brought out my salad and my husbandâs food while waiting on the appetizer. We finally got all of our food and the manager came back to our table. I will give him credit for doing the âright thingâ. He comped our food (not the wine) and gave us coupons for free dinner and wine tasting. Of course that was after I mentioned we had a poor experience there several years back and hadnât returned until now and probably wouldnât make that mistake again. I wouldâve much rather had everything comped as I really have no desire to return. When Cooperâs Hawk originally opened on the Plaza (in the 1st location) it was a pleasant experience, in fact one that i frequently recommended. Since moving to the new location and expanding I feel like they try to do and be too much to the point it makes the experience chaotic and unenjoyable. Try decluttering the entry space and simplifying the menu to avoid unnecessary kitchen delays and mistakes that elongate the dining time and wait for those who have reservations.
Food was excellent as always. It was Homecoming and the service suffered as a result. We were unable to get any drinks before being seated as it was crowded but not that crowed at our table area. I had to ask several times for our server. Ordered dessert to go as we had plans afterwards and it came on a plate. I was disappointed that it appeared the dessert was just mashed into a togo box mixed with the ice cream. So when we got it home everything was melted together. We through it away. Disappointed. Expected more for $200. We won't be back to this location.
Restaurantji Recommends
We were celebrating our anniversary. It's been a while since had been there. Downstairs was busy and aliveïżŒ Our server was wonderful! Knowledgeable, attentive and personable. His recommendations were spot on. We are looking forward to going back.
When they say us they had the entire restaurant open. They put us at the VERY top next to the window of the kitchen. It was extremely hot. To get there we had to pass basically an entire floor of open tables. Not sure why they would put us there. Also, the hostess walked extremely slow to the table. Unbearably slow. I'm sure she was told to do that, but read the room. Otherwise, server was great and food was fantastic.
Very busy and loud Cooper's Hawk but same great food and wine that exemplifies this brand. We stayed nearby and loved being able to walk to this restaurant close by! Beautifully decorated and open design which led to high volume levels! Our server was very attentive, and our food came quickly and tasted great! Highly recommend!
I love Cooper's Hawk, not only the wine, but the amazing menu. Our server Joe was great! Our only issue was how incredibly noisy it was. We couldn't have a conversation without yelling, which only increased the noise level. in the future, I will try requesting a different area of the restaurant to see if it's better.
We went to brunch on a Sunday and had a wonderful time! The food, atmosphere and service were outstanding
