I've lived just south of Waldo for a very long time and somehow never checked this place out. It's inside Dodson's Bar which is actually pretty nice and not a dive bar like I thought it was.
The burgers were good. The tots were good. The available beer was passable.
Also it was nice to find a place I could get good that's open past 9pm.

I’ve never had a small order of tots before. But they have started to put the sauce in the tater tot bag to disguise the amount of tots they are giving you. For fours dollars you would expect a good amount but they trick you by putting the sauce in the bag. I would prefer going back to just getting a normal amount of tater tots. The picture is the total amount of tater tots there.

Take note as it’s not listed in the Google info, but families are not allowed. We’re traveling through and wanted something local rather than a chain and thought the 15 min detour here would be worth it. Not even close! My wife and I entered with our kids, 18 and 15, only to be directed back outside as under 21 aren’t allowed inside even to place a take out order. An interesting approach for a restaurant to take whether or not there’s a bar inside. So we dutifully walked outside, I got everyone’s order, and went back inside. I asked the bartender if I order from him or what looked like a takeout window. It should’ve been abundantly clear by now that we’re not locals, but he responded with a grunt then to scan the QR and order online. Needless to say, we headed to a chain then back on the road. While there is a line on their website stating no one under 21 can dine in I would strongly suggest they clarify that on their website, add a sign with larger than 12 pt font on the door, and upload a pic of said revised sign on the Google and other search pages so possible and actual patrons will know. The burgers do look really good on their website and Google images, but we will never know.

Good luck finding this place. They only take online orders. There is no sign for the restaurant to look for to pickup food. It’s actually inside a bar called Dobsons. Don’t look for a phone number to call to help find your food you already paid for, they don’t have one listed. As the cook said, that’s how they do things! lol he thought it was funny. 20 mins driving and walking around trying to find it, of course food was cold. Rude employees and don’t care if you pickup your food or not, they have your money.

Got carryout, which was ready quickly even on a busy Friday night. Online ordering only, and only 21+ inside. Parking can be very challenging. I'd recommend just parking at Walgreens and walking across the street if you are just running in to grab food.
Food was great. Pickles and fry sauce are fantastic. Tots are yummy. Good portion size. Reasonable prices. Vegetarian and vegan options.
