Excellent Italian spot, I'd say one of the best in KC. You won't see "alfredo" on the menu, this place is authentic. Some of the best grilled shrimp I've ever had. Great happy hour, and I want to make it here for brunch sometime. I would say I prefer Ragazza to it's Mediterranean-flair sister restaurant Enzo in City Market.

Low-key but nice Italian restaurant with a bar. We sat at the bar and had dinner. The Chicken Piccata is superb.

One of the best restaurants I've been to. It doesn't matter if you're there for apps or an intimate meal for 2. Their menu is amazing, my favorite being meatballs.

Great food and drinks. Just a little too loud to hold a conversation without shouting when it's busy. Also, they were out of tiramisu. Don't be out of tiramisu.

Local Guide

We have been meaning to come to Ragazza for some time and finally made it. The food is great, the appetizers in particular are excellent. Authentic Italian flavors, the passata is well made and blends well with the meatballs, and arancini. The eggplant fries in particular are a standout. The pasta dishes are perfectly cooked, the sauces subtle but on point. The 6hr sauce pasta dish is good but other dishes are probably better. The house made limoncello is delicious. Wine list is small but some great selections and well priced. Definitely one of Kansas City's better Italian restaurants and most of all the aervice is fantastic -Addie was one of the best servers we have ever had.

From the moment we stepped into Ragazza Food & Wine, we had a warm embrace of hospitality that marked the beginning of a truly delightful dining experience! As a first-time guest, I found the staff to be exceptionally welcoming, attending to my needs with a level of care that was both refreshing and commendable. The ambiance of Ragazza strikes a rare balance between elegance and comfort, crafting a cozy atmosphere that invites diners to relax and savor their time. The lasagna, a centerpiece of their culinary offerings, was great—layered with rich flavors that spoke to the restaurant's commitment to authentic Italian cuisine. A word to the wise: securing a reservation is advisable. Ragazza's allure is no well-kept secret, and a planned visit ensures a more seamless experience. While the vibrant buzz of conversation adds to the restaurant's charm, it can crescendo to a level that challenges tableside chatter as it was a bit noisy. Additionally, while not a dealbreaker, the absence of complimentary bread was a noted departure from tradition. Despite these minor things, Ragazza left an indelible impression on us. It's a gem that beckons us for repeat visits, and I am already looking forward to my next trip there!
