Have eaten here several times. Food & service are always great! Order pasta, salads, sandwiches, etc., at the counter. They also have desserts, salads, & some deli items to request from display cases.

I am accustomed to great Italian in my hometown. I am usually disappointed when I travel and eat at an Italian restaurant Wow, this place is legitimate old-school Italian. My wife stated this was the best Italian she has had outside of our hometown. A friend of mine recommended this place, and he was spot on. I had the lasagna. The dish was a good European portion. The noodles were definitely homemade. The sauce was meaty and had an adequate amount of seasoning and garlic. My wife had the chicken prosciutto tortellini. She was in love with the dish. You have to have dessert at Cupini's. We had the tarimissu. I would rank it in the top 5 best tarimissu I ever had. Good coffee flavor with a top quality chocolate powder topping. The place is not fancy, but the food is reasonably priced. You order at the counter and then find a seat. The owners are cooking up excellent traditional Italian food without jacking up the price. I will be back the next time I am in KC and I will bring my friends. I now understand why Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives TV show highlighted this place.
Great neighborhood place to either pick up Italian to cook at home or stay and dine in.
I do truly love this restaurant. I’ve been coming here for years. But, Recently, I used the bathroom and it was disgusting. It smelled bad and clearly had not been serviced in a long time, including the floors. That was very disappointing to me.
Extremely reasonable prices. The smaller panini was fairly big. Looks like they have a create your own pasta plate option, and the deserts looked delicious. I’ll have to come back to try more!

We were able to sit out on the patio for the first time and it was delightful. This place has the best Alfredo sauce, especially for the price! I highly recommend trying it out!
Great food. Great Service. Lasagna is incredible. Looking forward to returning.

We happened upon this restaurant and thought we would give it a try. We both ordered the chicken Parmesan and were pretty disappointed the chicken seemed to be cooked well before we ordered it, it had a strange texture and the breading was very soggy.
