They're temporary closed right now. I love their pizza but it's a little overpriced.... Decent service.

I continue to be amazed at how a pizza by the slice place can serve such unimpressive slices. I personally watched them reheat mine, and yet it still managed to be cold "fresh" out of the oven. It was overproofed, undersauced, and the cheese congealed before the guy behind the counter could even muster a weak smile and tell me to enjoy. If I wanted to taste disappointment, I'd eat my mother's cooking. Only I don't have to pay for that.

This place has gone downhill steadily for years. Stopped by for a deli sandwich - they were out of everything! NOTHING like their glory days in the early ‘90s!

The young man behind the counter today was a sweetheart...but the actual pizza was just mediocre at best...it looked like their pizza but the taste was just off & has been since Covid! Now with Joe's closing it used to be the next best thing...well it's still better than Pizza Hut but I don't think we'll go back...this is twice now plus they never have honey!

If you want New York Pizza... here is as close as you can get... just close your eyes listen to the sirens and realize that you just stepped back into the city as you take your 1st bite.

A bit disappointed. Ordered lasagna, it was not very hot. It use to have much more cheese and especially sauce. Will give it another chance. Hope they can correct my issues.

I'm late....I meant to write this review a little while ago.....I ordered a Pizza and left the house and forgot my purse...??♀️They trusted me and let me go on home..... The next day I made sure to call and pay as soon as they opened.I so much appreciate that they trusted me. I always have awesome service when I come here... Everyone is always pleasant and full of smiles... Thanks You Guys for such terrific service ??

This place has the best NYC style pizza in all of KC! I’m originally from the NYC/NJ metro area and have had a hard time finding pizza that is in any way comparable to back home, but this place definitely makes the cut. We got the a half plain/half pepperoni pie and it was literally the best pizza I’ve had since I moved to KCMO. Definitely check this place out. You won’t be disappointed.

My family and I had the sandwiches we had a roast beef with pastrami and turkey we had a turkey sub we also had a napoli sandwich. My daughter's sandwich wasn't made correctly she said that it wasn't good and my brother said his was trash as for the naploi it was ok. If you want a really good sandwich try Giavanni's on the north side of KC on Antioch Rd. The customer service could have been better. ???
A Kansas City staple just down the street from KU med. No dining inside, so we ordered and ate at a table on the sidewalk. Just yummmmmm!!!! This place never disappoints - meatball sub and a slice were delicious. Oh, and let's not forget the sour cream Apple crumb pie. Such a treat!!

Terrible customer service. Yes we came in 20 minutes before closing for a single slice of pizza (which they had a whole pizza and just had to warm it up). Also turned people away. I own my own business and if my employees turned customers away before we even closed I would not be happy.

Drove all the way there after confirming its open and you can eat there.Its only take out and you cant eat in the resteraunt just outside in the heat.I wont be back when there is no excuse to not be open and things are back to normal sept 27 2021.Its 90 degree today and we dont want to sit on the sidewalk and eat.And to be honest it used to be good but the last few times I've ate here they are putting next to no meat and toppings on overpriced pizza and sandwiches.We will find a new place as your done taking advantage of your old good reputation with me as your new reputation is a overpriced letdown always.
